A mixture of gylecrine and vaseline (petroluem jelly) works wonders esp for the heels and soles.

vaseline!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: taking care of dry skin in winters
i second the glycerine. it works and it costs less. if you can spend $$$ u can look into decleor skincare...i love their milk cleanser, harmonie essentielle day cream and their rose d'orient night balm. It is a godsend for sensitive, dry skin and the products are super gentle on the skin.

Put vaseline on u're feet and wear loose cotton socks for a couple of hours..scrub u're feet with a pumice stone and re-apply the vaseline!
For winters u need heavy creams (for ppl with dry skin) Body Shop has great ones..for the body I love Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lotion or Body Shop Body Butters.

Re: taking care of dry skin in winters
Donot use Vaseline it clogs pores.
Best thing to keep your skin glowing in winter is to exfoliate regularly with a very gentle exfoliater so maybe twice a week but the grains have to be very gentle.
Also avoid all chemicals such as bleaches or things during winter.
Use a very rich heavy eyecream at nights and instead of moisturizer use an Oil like Rosehip at night before bed.

I personally dont like the St Ives Apricot scrub for face.
Its okay for hands and feet but too harsh for the face, you need something with very fine grains that are gentle on the skin.
I dont use any western scrub, i use a pakistani one, if you want the name of it i can give it you. Its very gentle.

han na yar.... tell me the name :)
Re: taking care of dry skin in winters
You know whats funny, all these years Ive been using it and Ive never bothered with what its called.
I call mum up and ask her to send me the orange wala thing and she knows what it is ![]()
Just looked at the name now for the first time.
Its called Artmatic Enriched Herbal Skin Polish.
The grains are very fine but are mixed with a very rich cream which makes it rubbing on your skin very gentle. And it smells nice too ![]()
I store it in the fridge as the jar is quite big and lasts for ages, this one was sent to me 2 years ago and its not even half empty.
thx sweetie… is it for dry skin cus my skin is. r u frm karachi… if yes, where does ur mom buy it n how much (i bet if its too xpensive my MIL will freakin faint!!!). btw, its a skin polish and not exflolaiter… so how can u use it like exflo?
