We have towns like that in SA too - its unbelievable, mainly the Dutch Afrikaaners living in their farmtowns with Cindi Lauper hairstyles - its like going back into a timewarp, you wonder if these people live on the same planet.

Afrikaans is the language, so I’m sure it’s Afrikaaner, pronounced “ah-fri-kaa-nerr”. Well here the apartheid mentality is still prevalent in smaller towns, but things are changing since its such a multicultral society. I have no idea about rednecks. They also listen to the likes of Johnny Cash and “boere musiek”.

Hey! Maryland’s not so bad. It’s right near DC and Annapolis is a real lively city, too. It goes from being urban in some parts to very rural. Frederick County makes me wanna throw up. My dad works in Clinton. That place sucks, too.

No, I do not live in Frederick, Maryland. I live pretty far from there. Frederick is like the Islamabad of MD. And no, I am not "pasty and fat" lol.
Did you go anywhere else in Maryland besides there? Maybe closer to the DC/VA area? How about Georgetown or College Park?

I can't understand them Roman. I stay at the Hyatt in Baltimore near the harbor...everytime I go there, I get so frustrated because the brothers there speak a completely different dialect of ebonics.
