The last few days I was in Frederick, MD at a biotech company. What a friggin surreal experience. People spoke slower, they moved slower and were generally not as well put togehter. What is wrong with these red states? I don’t get it. How can they live like that. bad dress, bad hair, bad aura…I feel so sorry for these people. They have to bear all that, plus bad sushi..

Similar experience in bumsville, backwater Pennsylvania. We advised a small biotech company as an acquisition target for big pharma. My VP nudged me while I was rudely staring at the women stuck in their 70s hairstyle rut. Now i know where the producers of "That 70s show" got their wardrobe tips from.

Anyhoot, you know another thing that was weird with these people is the portions of their meals. For the love of god man...you either have a salad with your burger or fries. Who the heck has both? out of shape fatties...the last time I saw people with this kind of an unhealthy glow was when I was in the UK.
