i thin Qadri saaHab knows his strength and he is looking for a face saving excuse...he'll opt out citing the same security concerns as the MQM...he'll postpone/cancel in the best interest of the people.

Fore this work , one needs a party at least , \only coming at Tv or good speaking power is not enough for reforms . Reforms need a big organization and masses support .

The Chief Justice was just one man who decided to take a stand and the people stood behind him. You don't need a party, you need a courageous person and the people will follow.
Even if he can raise awareness among the masses then still he would have achieved something. If nothing happens then it is a part of democracy.

I am telling you that there is nothing with this Papa Padri
After spending billions he could manage few thousands people from all over Pakistan . It is now close to 1200 hours and March was scheduled to leave Lahore at 9 AM . Few are his 'Mureed' type and few reached due to media hype .

He is Canadian Citizen, I wonder if he does the same thing in Canada. Long March to Ottawa eh. Mushy era was not "strongest dictatorship" and this democracy is not really "weakest democracy" as you are making it out to be but in all cases so far PPP has chosen to make deals with army, chosen to participate in elections even if army is the so-called shot-makers. The reason PPP takes part in elections is to take part in the exchequers, plain and simple.
Musharraf was probably among the best leaders Pakistan had in its history.
He just goofed up with the Chief Justice saga.
But I much rather have his leadership than the Clown Show that is running Pakistan.
