Declaration implemented: Court orders Qadri, govt to withdraw cases against each other
Re: Tahirul Qadri's long march
Well according to conspiracy theorists, no one can match the power and reach of the 'establishment', and once the establishment backs some party, no one can defeat it. And now that PTI is weaker in the polls, everyone was painting Dr. Qadri as the establishment pawn. And now that the govt has hugged and kissed him as well, everyone has stopped yapping about it.
That is the worst part of our politicians, and our media. They never own up to their mistakes and misquotes. And we have a large blind segment in the public that follows that lead.
U know, its funny how Imran was so focused in getting rid of Altaf bhai that he was practically reciting anti MQM wird all the time, he was hell bent on turning the international media against MQM, declaring it a terrorist regime instead of a proper party, and hell he even packed his BAGS WITH EVIDENCE, kilos and kilos of substantial proof againt Altaf bhai, and went to london to kick some fine hairy altaf a$$... but then we all know what happened..... he came back... made MQM his first allies, and since then only PML-N is kindly the focus of immu.
Mr. Padri is along the same tracks as well... even a blind can smell the establishment's cooking... can you??? Sorry u r not blind. Neither am I.
Also, it was a shock to me when I was told, MQM was also once upon a time, establishment's kerni dharni. Now its slipped outa hand... by none other than ISI's own. Don't ask me who he was. Top shiiikret.

Re: Tahirul Qadri’s long march
No, I don’t consider TUQ as Sheikh ul Islam or anything like that. I don’t look up to anyone in particular or believe in peeri mureedi or anything of that sort; just keep religion simple
Some of the language he used in that press conference was indeed offensive or baazari and I don’t approve of it but he was probably at the end of his tether.
The moral for Sharifs: People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. By all means debate/disagree with/criticise the policies of PTI, PPP, PML-Q, PAT, MQM, ANP, JI etc but there is no place for Zaatiyat ki politics in a civilised society
Forget TUQ or Deen-e-Elahi or whatever, you have a choice between following peaceful, tolerant islam or the one practised by some extremist intolerant Arab societies (like the Salafis of Saudia).
The problem is Pakistanis just love conspiracy theories. This is our best defence mechanism
First everyone incl. firebrand Asma Jahangir was saying that boots or military establishment were behind TUQ. Now that the march is over and an agreement was reached peacefully between Govt. and TUQ (and it is clear that the army was not behind this march), everyone’s started calling TUQ a fake or fraud!
Lastly (again) koun such bol raha hai yeh to Allah hee behtar janta ha..
Re: Tahirul Qadri's long march
It is very understandable when a million guns are pointing to your neck . It is Only present government who could complete its constitutional term without an umbrella of ................................
Are you saying that Zardari and co survived 5 years **despite *million guns pointed at their neck? or *because **millions guns were pointed at their neck?
The establishment excuse is a gone case now. The current govt survived because the army has had no interest in interfering in civil matters. It comes with too much baggage. The last person to benefit from the army was Benazir and Zardari, who got their slates wiped clean thanks to the NRO.
What he is saying infact is that millions guns have been pointing at PPP all this time, that means PPP is puppet of the million guns, simple si baat hay.... "mil baant ke khaatay hayn, awaam ko itna mut nocho ke army ko maseeha bannay ka drama karna paray"

Imran took evidence against MQM to Scotland Yard. He followed it through as far as he could. Scotland Yard asked for witnesses, without whom they could not proceed. And noone in their right mind would testify against Altaf Hussain. Rest is history. For this, you cannot blame Imran, as he did what he set out to.
PTI is mellow in its approach to MQM now, because of 2 reasons. One, MQM is a localized, linguistic party, and two, their priorities have changed. PTI is still outspoken in all its talk show appearances about MQM and its activities in Karachi, but they have toned down to an extent. Perhaps they got threats from the MQM, or they have just mellowed down, but their point of view hasnt changed.

Shukar Allah ka kah aap itnay zaeef-ul-etiqaad nahin kah Mr. Padri kay hath par bait kar laitay :k:
BTW i never said that Army is behind this man. I like Nusrat Javed column coz he never defend any one blindly but apprecite nice effort of politicians as wel as criticized. But i think his sympthy is with PPP but i never think he is blind follower.

One thing i know that “kah Padri ko sirf aur sirf Pakistan key muhabat nahin khainch lai thi, kissi aur k hath main dugadi thi” aap mujh say agree karain ya nah karain leekan haqeeqat yahi hay ![]()
I strongly recommend that chain of Democracy should not be halted as after 2 or 3 consecutive election people ll get political awareness like now a days many PPP jiyaala’s started criticizing Govt coz they ve seen that after 5 years nothing is changed in country.
Re: Tahirul Qadri's long march
After reading about his dreams and his 'Fatwa' about interest in Canada , I am doubtful that we can say him 'Muslim' or not . He is not allowed to enter in many Muslim countries .
But last year tto inoh ne haj kia. Waha enter kese ho gae?

So what is the difference!!!! Same with every other party out there.... PRIORITIES CHANGE. And i fail to see why others can't see.... and hell with this mellow down approach... U either are in favor or against someone like MQM... It goes against rational thinking altogether.

For some, priorities change for the worse. As far as MQM is concerned, it is a local party, and a local problem. There are far bigger issues plaguing Pakistan. PTI is not in favor of MQM, just that there are more important issues that need to be dealt with than go after Altaf Hussain.
Re: Tahirul Qadri's long march
bigger issue??? PMLN is bigger issue? bigger than the zardari's and raja rentals and target killings and bhatta khori....
@silaaj and GA...
I rest my case.

We like it or not MQM is a reality in Urban Sindh. Any one who forms a government in the center will have to take MQM on board and have a good working relationship with them (and that includes PMLN too). Its not that long ago when Nawaz Sharif was against including lotas in his party and now everything's hunky dory. For peace in the city a delicate balance is required between ANP, MQM and other stake holders. I support PTI's stance in this regard, the absolutist posturing of PMLN will bite them after the next elections.
