What ever we say about what happened during the past 4-5 days. It was an overall impressive show by Qadri. The points that he was raising were mostly valid and important for free and fair elections in the country.

The crowd has impressed me too, who have braved the weather and continued with the sit in. The march has been quite peaceful and organized, but no damage what so ever.

What ever the result comes out now, its a win win situation for all.

He was looking for face saving way out, and I think he got it. Govt did the right thing by letting is supporters freeze instead of sending in police and dispersing them by force. Seems like democracy is working. :)

For last 4 days people that were calling each other names, cursing each other. Calling each Yazid and thieves. TUQ who called the PM and parliament as ex. Now they are praising each other and calling each other democratic. It was all a topi drama, TUQ lost his credibility as well. I would never support him.

Assemblies were scheduled to be dissolved in March anyway. Elections were meant to be held in May any way. I had not heard anything to the contrary so far. So what was so new about this agreement?

It is the Election commission who decide who is eligible to enter in the parlement or Not;

There are 5 members in the election commission; the leader who is impartial but 82 years old... and among the 4 remained; 2 from ppp and 2 from PML-Q

For the first time in the history of Pakistan; next sunday at markaz lahore, ALL political parties will decide Who will be the NEW members in the election comission!...

So inchallah if all goes well, logically the current corrupt people in the assemble should not be here in the next new assemblee and nawaz sharif will not be eligible to fight the new election plus all the others corrupt....

It is All up to the meeting next sunday, where IK, TUQ and all other political parties will be present....
