well.....there's no doubt that Taher Shah is out to make a buck and he's willing to do it with his "talent".
what about Amir? it's my understanding that he never fails to drive home the message that his work as an "Alim" is in the public's interest and he would forego his own pleasure to do his "duty".

Exactly and if someone wants to flourish his/her career there is no better platform than GEO. Now a days, creating some drama to gain importance is the main tecchnique.

Yeah, I got carried away here. But it was really hurtful to get such a blame for the whole community only because that joker Liaqat belongs to that community.
about that post about no complaining, well, it is also out duty to say something when something has the potential to effect people. If I had not said anything then some people would have taken his 'thought" at the face value and would have unknowingly agreed with him that Karachilites are his only audience due to his nationality.
If this was real then this was very inappropriate from amirs/program's producer's side. Its nice of tahir that he kept it cool and dignified. If you are calling a guest on your show then respect has to be given does not matter if they have sang a stupid song...coz otherwise they shouldnot be invited at all. And i dont understand why everybody is complaining its a ramzaan show and he was singing...he was just singing not swearing and besides this show is not always portraying stuff related to ramzaan.
