I'm proud of taher shah for following his dreams. He has a good voice just in needs better lyrics.

The way Amir Liaqat treated Taher Shah is exactly like a lot of us (inclusing me) have been doing by making comments about him. Not about the song, but about his personality, looks and about him as a person.

Sometimes by seeing somebody else behaving a certain (idiotic) way makes you realize your own mistake.
Isn’t Amir Liaqat looking ridiculous in his attempts to ridicule Taher Shah? Amir is just putting in practise what a lot of people have been saying and posting.
And how so many people are now turning against Amir, while they have been doing the same (and even worse). Online hi sahi, sirf baatu se hi sahi.

Making fun of the lyrics is one thing, because agreed the lyrics are funny and make no sense. But bringing down Taher’s personality and insulting him personally is another and should be condemned.

Btw, Taher Shah is such a well spoken person with good manners. Kuddos to him for keeping his cool during the show. Even in his fb message he did not malign Amir Liadat.

For those who are saying that his song is vulgar because he sings about making love.
I don’t think his words of ‘making love’ mean what they originally mean. His English song is just a too literal translation from urdu that it misses the point.

And who's ****** idea was to bring a singer on a Ramzan transmission and ask him to sing a song rather than a naat ?!
Salute to Tahir Shah to still keep his calm and LDL on Amir Liaqat for his disgusting act. I hate him even more now. Dare to do this on a politician and we'll see who'll laugh louder.

Actually it is not. It is hypocrisy to say: I only insult people behind their back, but not when they are with me.
The point is: amir Liaqat has shown us a mirror. An ugly one.

A lot of people realized that Amir Liaqat is like them. A person they dislike and hate resembles them charackter-wise.

While the person that was ridiculed (by both Liaqat and the people) is better in so many aspects.

That actually hurts.

We use this argument to console ourselves that we are still better than a certain person, because he took the nastyness one step further. Amir Liaqat in this case.

OMG - Tahir Shah was singing about love and making love. How come nobody gives a crap about that? I’m glad Aamir ridiculed him.

Yeah so Aamir didn’t maintain personal space. The guy was singing about love and making love … hahahaha, Aamir made fun out of him. Good. He deserved it.

You do not come onto a Ramadan Iftar Transmission where 99% of the audience are from the ‘lower class’ and have their own issues to deal with and start singing about intimacy - and that too in English!!! Think logically.

How can you cry for respect when you don’t behave (or sing) with respect? People are not going to respect that kind of ‘music’ and I’m sure the majority of people in the audience didn’t even understand what he was singing cause he was singing it in English. What a fool.

As usual the hate for Aamir is amazing. This man called out Javeria, Saud and all the other Pakistani celebrities for doing diddly squat during their iftar transmissions other than showing off and chit chatting. At least this man is doing something for the public - which is a hell of a lot more than anybody else on the air right now.

Junaid Jamshed needs some originality. He’s copied everything about the Aamir Liaquat show from the stage set to his topics. Get real.

You are talking as if Aamir didn’t know what the song was about before inviting him. He invited the guy for the sole purpose of insulting him. Instead of condoning his behaviour, you should be criticizing when he is wrong. He may have called out other celebrities but they also don’t pretend to be an Islamic scholar.

Taher Shah obviously didn’t ask to be invited. So are you telling me hosting an Islamic show in Ramadan it’s ok to invite a singer and make him sing his song? And then not just that, he goes on to insult his guest when Islam places so much importance on respect? It’s disgusting to see that people actually defend him.

well bad / good all people exist, but in this case the real culprits are channels and audience. These anchors/hosts don't do odd things according to their own wish but its all as per directions of channel's management.... They know people like silly things so they present it on TV screens and anchors can do any thing for money so they behave like puppets.
