There has been hulchul in the news anchors world recently after King maker, Malik Riaz blackmailing of CJ son.
Like in all con tries, there are newspapers, channels and anchors that have special soft corners in their hearts for a specific party. Be it for their manifesto or MONEY, I wondered what u guys thought our media personals had allegiance to particular parties. I don’t know many so will only list a few:-
Talat Hussain = My favourite as he does not seem to be biased towards any political party
Shahid Masood = Dont think biased but exaggerates the news
Mubashar Lucman = Anti PMLN!! my kinda guy :k:
Hasan Nisar = Anti status quo and Pro PTI
Hamid Mir = He looks dodgy as pleases most pple. Still don’t know why he is such a hotshot in Paki news world.
**Sana ***a = Totally and utterly pro PMLN (stopped watching her and advice pile not to watch her)
Zaid Hamid = Legend in his own right!!
These are the guys I follow, but I’m sure there are many more that i don’t know about.
every anchor pretty much seems to be on an agenda, and has a soft corner for a particular party, but yes, you are right, out of all of them Talat hussain is probably the only unbiased person!
I agree with you about Talat Hussain (very professional and unbaised.) I would also like to include Nadeem Malik of Aaj TV doing "Islamabad Tonight" (to the point, and very good economical analyst, which I think Talat lacks) and Kashif Abbasi (bold, straightforward) of ARYnews doing "Off the Record."
Achors/analysts I don't like includes Mubashar Lucman (wants cheap publicity and unprofessional), Kamran Khan (never critizes violent acts of MQM) and Hasan Nisar (pro-secular to the extent of anti-Islamic sometimes due to his misplaced understanding, and tendency to switch sides.)
Funny anchor would be Javed Chaudry
Annoying anchor would be Dr. Danish of "Sawwal ye hai"
I think Kashif Abbasi is also a neutral anchor.........Talat of course has real guts as he came out openly and said that whichever anchor or media person takes side of malik riaz, he is very likely on his payroll.
I just wish that the real estate mafia in Pakistan, and especially in Islamabad takes a fall. They have artificially jacked up prices so much that buying property has become a dream for middle class pakistanis.
Kashif Abbasi / Meher Bukhari: Both neutral and pretty fiery.. A match made in heaven
Talat Hussain: Best of the lot when it comes to unbiased analysis. Excellent communicator. And one of the rare ones who actually let his guests talk
Kamran Khan: VERY anti PPP. He dedicates whole one hour in government bashing Its actually funny at times. but he breaks some important stories too.
Hamid Mir: Very knowledgable but somewhat a dodgy character. A bit Pro - PMLN
Hassan Nisar: Not really an anchor… More like an analyst. Very pro - pti
Shahzeb Khanzada: Pro-PTI but has the guts to ask candid questions at times to anyone. His program with Marvi Memon after her joining PML-N.
Javed Chaudhry: Pro PML-N. But his way of talking is quite amusing at times. Not that good with analysis though.
Nadeem Malik: Like K-2 said up there, he is one of the neutral ones and a very good one too. His analyses are spot on. A bit lacking on the communication skills side but still a very good anchor.
**Mubashar Lucman: **Very emotional, unstable personality. Anti PMLN but goes a bit too much in his accusations and lacks solid research at times.
Shahid Masood: His analytical skills have gone down in recent years. A bit pro-pti iit seems.
**Sana Bucha: **Shamefully Pro PML-N and very anti-Pti. Does not even try to hide it
Which one do you like, or are you embarrassed to say it
IslamAbad tonite= that chubby guy is awesome. Talat= Very smart, very hard working. Lucman = Bold, shuts up sharmila farooqi :D Rana mubashar= I only saw him 3 times sounds very decent. Jasmean= Usually good.
Kshif and khanzada = could be so annoying that I want to slap the screen. Just too annoying.
If you want to go deep. They both are tuned to words.
Like, if the ask you. Mr. Ehsan whay did you word high in your signature.
You answer " Iike some this scholar who said thing" They would disregard your answer.
Unless you use word "high" again. Like NOT high. Or say LOW, their brain wont register it.
Sethi= cant stand the way he talks.. looks munafiq. Hamid = traitor. guy from front line= He should be run over by a truck.
hasan nisar = I mostly like his temper :D He could be off some time.
Talat Hussain is an extremely professional news reporter. He is one of the few unbiased and responsible news reporter and anchor in South Asia. I’ve never seen him selling or inviting negative people to gain popularity for his show.
Zaid Hamid is only good for entertaining high school and teenage kids…Five years ago he proclaimed “in 5 years Pakistani Chaand ko Chuu langein”…Maybe he thinks his arse is a Chaand and in 5 years all Pakistanis will be touching his arse…too bad not all Pakistanis are gullible teenagers.
**Talat Hussain
Hasan Nisar - can be a bit badtameez at times but like him because he is straight-talking and anti status quo
Javed Chaudhry (Kal Tak) - funny, usu. has some interesting story to tell + doesn't usu. take sides of any party
Nadeem Malik - good analyst + good listener
Kashif Abbasi - bold + straight-forward
Asma Shirazi
**Dislike
*Dr Danish - chatterbox, annoyingly loud at times
Iftikhar - rude, lacks nifasat, has his own agenda, bad listener
Hamid Mir - very khushamadi & chaplos, not genuine at all
Muneeb (Aapas ki baat with Najam Sethi) - chamaat thinks too highly of himself
Heckle & Jeckle (Uncle Sargam lookalikes) forgetting their names
Sana - arrogant
Zahid Hamid - crazy conspiracy theorist
*
Neutral
**Najam Sethi - biased but still like some of his views (re. drones etc.)
Meher Bokhari
Kamran Khan
Shahid Masood
Mubashar Lucman
Most of them Looters and money makers .
They told you nothing about looting of Malik Riaz because they were making money from and his beneficiaries . Most of them were on duty to defame PPP .
Still the most of them are silent .
