and what do we think of ourselves. Finishing your sentence fake prophet. We must think ourselves to be the future leaders of the new Ummah that will rule the world and put women in hijabs and full coverings. After all Ummah is not gonna have some moderate as a Khalifa, We gonna have a Mohammad Omar type Mullah that will show the world how to dress nicely and behave in a civil manner. These Westerners live in sin, dress scantily to provoke other males to look at them and eye them. What type of decency is this I ask? Even in the villages of Venezuela they have more decency than what I saw after a few years absence. I cant wait to get my assignment so ican go and help my Muslim brothers in Afghanistan by working for peace corp (thats the only good thing plus a many other that west has done). The rest is quite detrimental to humanity.
Yes we should set examples, help our fellow man. But we should never bow down and comprimise our faith. We should live life like our Prophet did. We should not worry about what the white man thinks, if he thinks at all. It is not the president of the USA or the queen of England that will judge us. The one to judge us is the all mighty ALLAH (SWT), and to him the queen and the president are no more then two tiny ants.
And PCG I think you have asked enough stupid questions for the week.
Yes Plus PCG auntie you are having your period so stay away from religion section as well. I am serious, we are muslims on this forum except this fake prophet. So please show some respect towards our religion. thank you.
The white man and the Muslim are mutually exclusive? And is thinking limited to Muslims (non-whites) only?
Having the sword associated with a religion implies violence is condoned and necessary in the religion and is something the followers have to decide is what they want or not.
Regarding your original question; it is bad PR under the current circumstances, but that doesn't mean it used to be or will be in the future. For example, Christians today give enormous emphasis on the crucifixion of Jesus (as), even though he stood for far more than sacrifice. So similarly, Holy Prophet's (saw) tolerance, passionate, humble and forgiving nature is ignored by the Muslims of today while his courage in battles is emphasized.
Anyway, all religions over time develop a culture that is generally locally developed. You can call it an integration of the new & old values and as they say some traditions die hard.
When I say white man, like you I also generalize. To me the white man is a redneck with half his teeth missing, living in a farm and lynching black people. And that man clearly does not have the ability to think.
Everyone has a different interpretation of things, and that goes for the second part of your question too.
It has nothing to do with any reports regarding Islam where I base my opinion. Perhaps it is my culture or my view on what religion/spirituality should include and be about. The sword, the gun, the knife or the bomb represent violence to me and has nothing to do with bravery, respect or religion.
I see nothing wrong in that. But in that case it was used as a symbol for strength and and so forth. Its for defense - not attack. Protection not murder/killing.
But I have never heard of Islam being represented by the sword. Perhaps Im missing something in this thread!
Seminole – Either way I think you’re not understanding the whole concept…
