I have been following discussions going on in the comment section of various european newspapers. One would expect such a move to be opposed and ridiculed in the European media. But the funny thing is many newspapers and editorials support the swiss move. Even the comment section has people nodding in agreement. There are very few people opposing the move. I don't think this would have been the case if the case against minarets had been taken to a vote a few years back. For some reason the liberal voice in Europe that opposes the crazy right is weakening with every passing year.
