Can’t believe those girls who were told their first names had to be changed just went along with it.. or their parents didn’t kick up a fuss to stop it happening..

This was back when parents believed in marrying off the daughters at the first opportunity and women were expected to go along with everything they were told to do. Don’t think it happens anymore.
