I watched all the episodes. Firstly, I am glad that the participants from Pakistan are OUTSTANDING! I am so happy for them.
Himesh and Atif are being childish. A cold war is there for I see, NO REASON. Abida Parveen is completely Allah wali.. so she is mostly not commenting which is quite disturbing. What I felt was, when Indian singers are performing, Asha ji is describing that how wonderful was that performance, like, kiya zabardast performance thi, dil ko chuu gaye, seenay main ja ke lagi, tumhari awaz aisee hay jese moti girr rahay hain, kia khoobsoorti hay, blah blah, but when a Paki singer is giving a mindblowing performance, she says AB kiya bolun, ye lo 10 marks, tareef hi nahin ho pa rahi unse, lafz hi nahin mil rahay unko, which is quite unfair. The words of a legend helps a lot and gives you confidence, which Asha ji lacks when it comes to appreciate Pakistani Participants. Still ye 0 and 10 ka rule india ko khud bhaari parr raha hay, maybe they thought Pakis lack in SURR TAAL which has been proved wrong by our singers and they are playing safe, now they dont need to care about the Alap and that stuff, even if they sing a simple song, they should be on surr thats it and thats for what the marks are given!! LOL!
Personally I believe its jut not surr but the entire performance, the outstanding performances that can give you goosebumps, a performance where a person feel like dancing, an energy, enthusiasm, power is what an entire performance is, but since Asha Ji gave an indian singer 10 where he did lack of JOSH (and the theme was JOSH too), she is now bound to ignore everything but surr!! I am glad our Paki Singers are ON surrs!!

except of sometimes she start singing from throat but she never been off the notes so thats awesome and I am glad the whole team is great!! :k:
