How many of you have been watching this show. I just watched the episode today and it really made me sick by the way the show was conducted and the judges verbal fight.
I could see that Atif was being a bit crude but the indian jury (Asha i think) and Himmesh kept fueling the fire. Despite Atif saying that this is for peace between the two countries…they still ridiculed and said otherwise.
The comments for the Pakistani contestants and just the overall presentation is just too dramatic AND EVEN if is scripted its worse. Instead of spreading the peace message they’re showing hate! SO SAD
Agree with the OP to the word!!! Atif rather looks bechara the way they are treating him i dont know why. the message to be spread should be of PEACE and NOT OTHERWISE. And if it all is scripted, its really pathetic.
Seriously the only one showing class is the bengladeshi judge and Abida parveen. Rest are just doing cheap things to get ratings. Even Atif wasn't acting as cheap as asha and himesh. But anywho, the contestants are really good.
i watched one of the episodes and i was like whattttt is this.
its a very low standard prog.....none of the contestants are good apart from sara....and those who are good they choose the wrong songs....overall it looks like a v low budget prog.
atif and himesh are funny.....both seem 'wont let it go'.....scripted or not this is funny.
i dont understand the point of atif and himesh being in the show when the marks are given by those 3 ladies......them two are just their to add fuel for the show.
I HATE this show. Its soo childish. I dont know what the producers were thinking. Could not even get past the first episode. They wanted to make easy money.
Himmesh and Atif are both acting like kindergarten kids.
The contestants are good, but the rest looks scripted. Not sure what Abida Parveen is listening to but she thinks everyone is singing well :-) Asha Bhonsle and Runa Laila atleast have something to say. And the less said about Himesh and Atif, the better.
I liked the earlier shows where RFAK was a judge/captain much better.
FYI!! She’s originally Bengali AND Bangladeshi - not Pakistani . She used to sing for Pakistani movies during the East Pakistan era. She and her entire family are based and settled in Bangladesh itself;)
And I didn’t know until recently that she also sang in some Indian movies in the late 70s.
She is Pakistani, BanglaDeshi, and Indian - all three rolled-in-one.
Vaisay, to be technically correct, if she was born in E. Pakistan between 47 and 71, she was born a Pakistani but is a BanglaDeshi now.
If she was born before 47, then she was an Indian and then Pakistani and then BanglaDeshi.
In fact, the most significant part of her playback singing career in Pakistan spans the 70’s decade, after the creation of BD. She did not move to BD in 71. She was the foremost female playback singer of Pakistan till around 1977, I believe.
