Disappointing verdict. I find it very interesting that they dismissed the claims on technical grounds and not based on merit at all. A very very smart way of avoiding a very dangerous situation for them.

Though politically a 4-5 verdict would have been the most efficient manner in which to solve the crisis.

Regardless the verdict of the Supreme Court stands and the independence of the courts should not be questioned.

Lets see if Musharraf lies a second time though? The question is now will he be elected by the assemblies and will he shed his uniform?

aaaaah i wish opposition leaders, lawyers and Justice Wajeeh Uddin had the courage like (and like Govt) to accept the decision and not question the independence of court. A hand of applause of you
