Supreme Court allows Reopening of Lal Masjid

and so are the esteemed supreme court judges of pak.

not content with hearing once more, a case they only decided last week, the supreme court judges yesterday also made a ruling which allowed the former administration of lal masjid to once again gain control of the compound. apparently, according to the logic of supreme court, administrators who keep ammunition in their mosque and then use the ammunition to murder pak army commandoes and in process get their own people killed were doing no wrong. next perhaps the judges should invite nutjob jehadis to establish training camps in islamabad because if fighting pakistani soldiers is not a crime, fighting nato troops in afghanistan and indian troops in kashmir should be kosher as well. its the right of pakistani groups to act in any manner they see fit. if some pakistani groups want to liberate muslim land, pak government should not stand in their way.

i have said many times that supreme court is a threat to the safety and stability of pak. however i had never expected i would be proved right to this extent:

Pakistan’s Red Mosque reopens after court order

…The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the government to open the mosque, which had been closed since government forces besieged and stormed the mosque in July, killing more than 100 people.

“Our movement for enforcement of Sharia has been stained with our blood and it must continue,” Aziz said in the message.

“The problems of this country can only be overcome with Islamic law.”
Aziz – whose brother, the hardline cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi, was killed in the raid – however called on the mosque’s followers to remain peaceful as the mosque reopened for prayers.

His brother’s family members attended the reopening.

…But the Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the government to reopen it again after accepting a petition by Aziz’s wife and others.

Re: the law is an ass

I guess Supreme Court is playing the same game as government i.e. forgive past crimes (National Reconciliation bla bla).

Re: the law is an ass

So which do you think will be worse for Pakistan? Forgetting past crimes of and or of taliban and al qaeda?

Any guesses?

Re: the law is an ass

Thank you, how did you make that smilie so big?

Re: the law is an ass

Please re-phrase the subject of this thread by cut-pasting the last two words by replacing the first two--then the third last after the first (replaced) two...and THAT...my friend...will be the real subject to ponder on...:)

Re: the law is an ass

good job by SC…:k:

Re: the law is an ass

I hear you Faisal Ji. These supremos of SC will drown in their own blood all thanks to this Talibanic menace aka Aziz braathraan.

This shows Pakistan still tends to be the "free-est" country when it comes to leniency and acceptance of Mullahism.

Minorities be damned. Supremos of SC would never challenge the medieval draconian law that we call Hadood ordinance.

Not even in Saudi Arabia the epitome of Wahabism, they would have allowed Aziz brathraan out of a dungeon for the rest of their lives.

Only in Pakistan!

Wah Wah!

Unfortunately the administration still treats Waziri menace differently from the Mullah menace in Islamabad.

In reality they are one and the same thing. The same Talibanics are killing our soldiers in FATA area, and the same Talibancis are trying to run rough shod in our cities.

p.s. The only note of value is that Mullahs now run with shalwars pulled high as soon as an evacuation order comes from the administration.

Gone are the days when Mullahs took the name radical Islamism in the same breath as Pakistan administration.

Re: the law is an ass

WTF…

Screw SC.

Re: the law is an ass

Thats contempt of court. I’m calling CJ now. :omg:

Re: the law is an ass

bhai sahib, I take no sides, to me both of them are equally destructive, one is physical destruction of Pakistan and other is social, moral destruction.

Re: the law is an ass

mushy is already doing that...:p

Re: the law is an ass

**
if musharaf doing it ....so is the law abiding lawyer hazraat too.

Re: Supreme Court allows Reopening of Lal Masjid

Aray bhai log..if things had gone according to Mushy's plans, Lal Masjid would've been opened ages ago. Abhi last night he gave this statement. Furthermore, the govt. has utterly failed to prove its case in front of the court. Umme Hasan has been free for months. Ab why blame the court when the govt. itself can't do squat.

Re: Supreme Court allows Reopening of Lal Masjid

We know the mayhem that was caused last time the SC ordered the release of Lal Masjid terrorists, and I hope that does not happen again.

Re: Supreme Court allows Reopening of Lal Masjid

The question is WHY? What's the SC got to get out of this?

Re: the law is an ass

How do you know that CJ does not like that activity? :halo: What Muali wrote seems what really Supreme Court wants :lajawab:

Re: Supreme Court allows Reopening of Lal Masjid

Bhai, what you think? Is it court job to open or close government Mosques in the country, or get Mosque opened up for public that has ‘Law and order problem’, especially, is it SC job to force appointments of Imam in Government Mosques.

And what type of justice it is that Supreme Court is asking government to rebuild buildings that was built on illegally occupied land, that government has demolishes? [Madrasa-e-Hafsa was wholly built on illegally occupied land. Even most of Lal Masjid is built on illegally occupied land. What I know, at present it is on 40,000 sq yards, when land allocated to Mosque was 125 sq yards].

It seems that since CJ got away with his illegal activities of nepotism, where he forced government into giving his undeserving son ‘Admission in professional college and Job in government’, CJ and his goons believe that they should become appointing authority in all government jobs.

These goons (justices) are the bigest protector of injustice, terrorism, corruption, and nepotism in Pakistan, and are partner in all of them. Pakistani Judiciary is competing with Politicians and Journalists, to become leaders of Pakistani Rascal institution:hehe:

Re: Supreme Court allows Reopening of Lal Masjid

SC should be turned into a madrassah/masjid. CJ can become the new Ghazi.

Re: Supreme Court allows Reopening of Lal Masjid

Are you suggesting he should wear a Burqa?
