I think Lal Masjid should be reopened, keeping in mind its a place for Muslims to pray (trust me, everyone in the F-6, G-6 area went there for prayers)... There are many many other mosques in the city where there are no such problems and Lal Masjid can be run without problems as well...
So long as the Mosque isnt used by terrorists, that fine... You go there, you pray, maybe a little khutba now and thenm, and you go home..
bahi if you go there, you will be surprised as well
they have also taken the u turn, now they say , whoever raise slogan against government will not be from us rather he will be someone who want fasad and we are peaceful

Who is "they." The students, the faculty? Good to hear, but how will "they" control the thousand or more students that freak out, and start rioting like they did the last time they opened it?
Are you suggesting that SC is opening Lal Masjid as Suo Motu action?
Court needs to be provided with proofs that the structure was infact illegal, mere verbal guarantees/affirmations don’t work in legal system, it means govt was not able to prove that structure was illegal?

both the faculty and students were speaking on laudspeaker again and again that no one raise slogans against govt , who will do that , he will be not from us

i was there for about one and half hour, there was not a single slogan
inside mosque there were student security waley with security writen badges and outside there were police , all were at peace

Chalo, good to hear these students are behaving sensibly...
Lets hope they can put the past behind them and move on.
, but how will "they" control the thousand or more students that freak out
that was surprising for me as well
that most of the students were given authority of becoming security person inside mosque
and faculty was again and again saying that we will keep the mission but we dont want fasad etc etc and who ever do that , he will not be from us
second there were not thousand students , when i had reached there , there were hardly 60 to 100 people but after an hour at nimaz time there were 200 to 250 people
Other than all the civilians who died, how many officials in ISI or other govt. agencies, who r responsible for ensuring law and order AND stopping such huge quantities of arms from getting smuggled inside the country, let alone the capital, have been fired, suspended or taken care of by the govt?
