Hooray, the man who legally enforced party discipline to force MPs to only ever vote for whatever they were told to vote for by their leader, rather than vote for the best interests of their constituents, is allowed to get into Parliament again.

Hooray, the man who set about to systematically destroy all legal safeguards on the power of an elected PM is allowed to contest for power again.

Hooray, the man who set down the path of trying to pass a Shariah bill that was so wide ranging as to give himself as head of the federal government virtually unlimited power... is allowed back in power again.

And of course, this being Pakistan, people are cheering for his return to the system.

So the jiyalas of PPP are now trying to say that the saints can only be found in PPPP and that is under the leadership of zardari

Anwar Pasha, with ur age, i guess either you consult a eye-specialist or stop wacthing TV and if you can't do either of them, then try to use some of ur brains, Geo or any TV channel for that matter just run a recording, and for the celebration like this, they just show a clipping of few seconds, now they didn't know that some fools are counting heads and later they are going to form their opinion on those clippings....

Thank u but i saw many times and i tried. It was on my personal intrest and I did not counted them to write here but I just now replied to the quote.
I am not in favour of Mr Zardari but go in deep and see the character of PPP leaders. ( Dont count Malik or Dr Asim as PPP leader).
They are realy better and committed people.

So who should they be cheering for? Zardari? Altaf Hussein? Qazi Hussein? Maulana Fazlur Rehman? Musharraf? To me its not about Nawaz Sharif, but setting things straight.

OK so NS was not responsible for not allowing the landing of Pakistan airliner anywhere in Pakistan, then who is?

It also shows the so called nice judiciary nicely timing the judgments when NS and AZZ meeting.

I do not have all the details of the situation. It was Mushy's claim that the plane was short on fuel and that pilot was ordered to not land in Pakistan. The SC has details and they gave verdict against Mushy.

Jokes aside, Nawaz Sharif did excesses in his last tenure, Musharraf overthrew him and did excesses during his time. Both should be tried and punished. It is important to have a check and balance in the system and judiciary (if honest and not-corrupt) can provide a good support for that.

Just like how you cheered till the end for a man/dictator who enforced himself into the system for a decade, and raped the country. The difference is, that dictator didnt have the balls to face an independent judiciary, and was a hijra general thus got away with it.

What do you guys predict in the near future after this verdict? Will A.A. Zardari be deliberately embarrased for brushing aside the Murree/Burban declaration? Will NS come to replace him as President?

Or will NS just use this opportunity to score next time around (~ 4 yrs or so)?

My personal hunch is that now A.A. Zardari has lost the upper hand, and will have to make some adjustments and compromises whether he likes it or not. It's anyone's guess what those will be....

NS will now try to remove the 3rd-term-limit, if that fails then he will go after Zardari or probably NRO. 4 years? its way too long to wait :hehe:
