Depends on the family. Personnally, I think if the inlaws really need it, AND you can afford it, then it doesnt hurt to help. However I agree with the above, it becomes an issue when you can't afford things for yourself and when inlaws start having luxury things. Ive seen issues where one guy is in the US, sends everything to the family back home, and family will have a huge wedding for the youngest kid. Things like this are what you have to prevent from happening. Problem is, human nature, usually once you start giving, after a while, people will not remember that your reducing your luxuries by providing for them.
