It is authentic now he has accepted Islam, his new name is Mohammad Yousuf and he prayed Magrib namaz after that he announced openly he has converted to Islam.

Are you aware of the Christian organisations (Especially working in Multan and Jacob Abada) converting Muslims of Pakistan to Christianity? Is that right? It that just it is not reported so it doesn’t exist? According to one of the Christian Priest in Lahore who recently converted to Islam, about 250000 Pakistanis have been converted by hook or by crook to Christianity since 1993 till 2005…
Are you aware of the Ahmadis(Qadiyanis) convering people to this “kuffr”, thats alright because this is not known openly?

You think that Muslims in Pakistan or of so little faith that anyone can come in and convert them to another religion, only people who are converted so easily are people living in oppression, and fear, you are not telling me that it’s like that in Pakistan. I mean look at freedom of speech, we have it (not) look at freedom of religious expression we have it (not)
I mean why else would people convert.

Great news mashallah God has guided him to the only true religion.How can anyone force him he was playing for almost 8 9 years .why should anyone force him now and why he was not forced before.And if the minorities are so opprresed then why did the selectors pick him in the team.

I agree with him being minority representative but i can ASSURE you that he wasn't forced because he made this decision long time ago(confirmed by Inzi himself).

Maybe it's good thing that he converted but he should have just kept quiet untill he retired.
I mean think of it, let's say you are living in a country (such as India) where you are a MINORITY and there is only one MUSLIM player (let's say Pathan) in Indian team, you will automatically have soft corner for him and you will SUPPORT India even though you don't get along well with hindus. Now all of a sudden you find out that the only muslim player has converted to Hinduism, how would you feel??? I would personally feel demoralised and might not feel as much part of the country( would feel kind of betrayed).
When Pakistan toured Australia last year, i met all the players and one of the Radio Pakistan rep told me that Yoyo has converted quite a while ago but just wants to keep it a secret for a while. I think he should have revealed this after retirement.
