Re: Supernatural experiences
Okay so about a month or two ago, this one Uncle moved into town and took over this one local halal meat store that was otherwise going to be closed down. I'd never seen the man before. My mother has been to his shop a few times before so she knows him.
So about 2 weeks ago, I saw this man in my dream. It was strange because I had absolutely no idea what he looked like - yet I somehow knew that it was that Uncle. So I told my mom the next morning and described him to her just because I was curious to see where this was going. Everything I described turned out to be true!
Then, about a week ago, I stopped by at this halal meat store, and by God the Uncle looked exactly as I had seen him in my dream. When I came home, I told my mom and she didn't believe me and she thinks I'm making the whole thing up :( But I'm not! I reallyyyy saw him before I ever actually...saw him! =\
Kinda freaky. _

Re: Supernatural experiences
(1) i dreamed about my finals result/ score in high school years back and to my surprise my result / score came out exactly the same in real ( shortly afterwards) ,(2) i got admission into college without ever been to that place ( admissions took place somewhere else) than i saw that college in my dream which i forgot , later on when i went there i was shocked to see inside of college exactly the same as i saw in my dream (3) last year i dreamt that there's some shadi/ celebration going on at one of my cousin's place and few days later i got the news that he got engaged and getting married soon (4) my mom used to tell about her ustani ji ( who tought her to read Quran) who can actually visualize and conversate with jins and saw dreams which usually turn out to be true (5) i can still recall my uncle's late father who could actually tell about one's future (health/ no of kids/success) by just looking at someone's face (that's y he used to stay quiet most of the times).
Re: Supernatural experiences
What does cheechray mean? And does this mean that my local halal meat Uncle is going to play a significant role in my life? :O
Re: Supernatural experiences
There is no such things as jinns, just mental illness.
Re: Supernatural experiences
Wait wait...
there's no such thing as atheism. Just a mental illness. _
How's that?

Extremely poor analogy.
Please capture a jinn after it's released by a molvi sahab. Until then, jinn are figment of someone's mental illness.
Re: Supernatural experiences
Right, so I suppose all Muslims that believe in Jinns have this mental illness.

wow thas scary
Re: Supernatural experiences
They believe in it. They don't get to experience it. When somebody claims that she is possessed by a jinn making scary grunting noises, cursing out people, pulling her legs and trying to wring her own neck, I'd say that she needs medical/psychiatric help. :)
There people in the US' bible belt who believe that UN runs the US and the UN has secret military bases in Oklahoma. People are free to believe whatever they want to believe.
Re: Supernatural experiences
***Cheechray or Chichrday means pieces of waste meat, that cats dream about…
***
And speaking of dreams, I know this lady in a small town in Pakistan back when there was no easy access to phones and telegrams were used. This Lady had her daughter in the US who was expecting a child. Her Son in Law sent his in laws a telegram stating that a boy was born and he weighed 6 lb 11 oz.
***That soon to be Grand Ma woke up from a dream telling her Husband to go to the Post Office and pick up the telegram, also told him what was in the telegram i.e. they had a Grand Son and that he was 6 lb 11 oz…:halo: ***
Re: Supernatural experiences

Re: Supernatural experiences
I had the daddy of all experiences.
During my university days i used to do security as a part time job.
I remember being asked to go to a certain building because no one wanted to go. I had heard it was haunted but decided that I would go and do a security shift because I needed the money as all students do...
When everyone had left and I had locked the gates and building i went to the reception area and heard people running on the first floor. I thought thats strange and walked up to the first floor only to find it totally empty!
I came downstairs and noticed that the huge vending machine had moved to the middle of the kitchen. I pushed it back to the wall and noticed that the water cooler was leaking so I moved that to the side only to see it back in the middle of the kitchen later on. If that wasent bad enough during one of my night patrols on the top floor i felt something touch the back of my head.
I still remember my body froze, a freezing sensation enveloped me...I ran as fast as I could down the stairs, jumping3 or 4 stairs at a time till i got to the bottom. I didnt leave the reception area the whole nigth and didnt return ever again!
Re: Supernatural experiences
^^ could be a prank played on you by guys/students who want to keep the myth going on...
sorority ppl do this sort of stuff all the time...they find secret passages to come and leave from class rooms etc... specially in old building when building codes required a lot more crawling space for maintenance work...
trust me no ghosts....
at most can be jinss, but if the classes are used during the day and evening then that should be not the case either...
and the freezing sensation is easily a psychological phenomenon from extreme fright...since you were hearing sounds and were scared...
