Re: Supernatural experiences

Ok here are is one of my CLOSE ENCOUNTERS WITH THE JINN KIND tales:

I was with a Jamaat (tablighi - I used to join them in the past), they spent the night in a deserted masjid which used to be an old city library (old grand high ceiling building) full of cobwebs and dark corners…the imam was totally against us staying there...we stayed there none the less but the next day moved to different masjid quite far away...night came and I cannot explain what I experienced, at first I felt at night that something is completely enveloping my body and I felt huge pressure on myself, I started to move in my sleeping bag but could not move...then the dream started or so I think it was...I saw ppl looking somewhat like humans but differnt in form in some cases such as faces, hands, they would appear and disappear, walk through walls, they were a family as their were adults, children among them, or atleast big ones and small ones, they were all almost smiling / snickering except one, a small female looking or atleast dressed that way, she was sad and some others were consoling her but would not stop snickering... then I finally broke loose and stood up in bed all shaken up.....it was still night, everybody else was asleep, the masjid was dark, I said my 4 quls and Ayat ul kursi thinking may be I forgot to say it before going to bed...and move my bag closer to a freinds and went back to sleep....I told the ameer of the jamaat in the morning...I don't know whether he believed me or not...but acknowledged there was something weird about the older masjid.

Re: Supernatural experiences

Antumul, it sounds like sleep paralyisis to me. Especially since you mentioned you felt pressure on you. Here’s a link to info about it. It’s happened to me and alot of people. Sleep paralysis - Wikipedia

“Traditional Islamic cultures would usually interpret this as an encounter with a Jinn (or “djinn”); a race of beings, similar to humans which inhabit the earth. The word “jinn” literally means anything which has the connotation of concealment, invisibility, seclusion and remoteness, and is one of the two beings (the other being Human) addressed directly in the Quran. In Islamic text, and scholarship, Jinns are considered beings, which like humans are accountable for their deeds and thus have free will. They are considered to have life and death, society, culture and religion.”

Re: Supernatural experiences

y u see any changes?

Re: Supernatural experiences

saimanyc I don’t know your religious background so I don’t know where you are coming from …and i am not saying that what I saw were jins but I can tell you that it was nothing of this sleep paralysis or hypnagogia rubbish.
I had jsut fallen asleep, not awakening from sleep, it was the first part of a winter night (moslty very long) and the dream was clear, vivid, or as I say, it seemed like a dream …
sorry but do not agree…

Re: Supernatural experiences

  1. I though you were a girl.

  2. Don't be so quick to discount 'sleep paralysis'. You can very easily verify your 'jinn' theory by spending time in any mosque after hours.

I wonder how this concept of 'jinns' found its way in the Quran.

Re: Supernatural experiences

go find someother thread to talk about your anti-islam and anti-quran and pro=aethistic stuff LI...
who cares what (male/femalke) you thought I was...

Re: Supernatural experiences

It was a simple question. Why do you mullah/mullahnee types feel so threatened by questions?

You didn't see a jinn. You just hallucinated/dreamt some fantasy you have about supernatural.

Re: Supernatural experiences

^^ that's what you think...I am no Mullah or Mullahnee......
thanks for the titles...
I am honored to be thought of one....
