Oh and btw, someone told me that they used an egg based potion on their hair, can't remember what it had in it, I think one raw egg and some vinegar or something. It really strengthened their hair.

Ahh thanks stoppit so I guess dandruff can be solved. Inshallah.
BTW I found a bottle of dabur amla oil but I stopped using it for my hair because someone said it turns them white is that true???
Missed the dandruff part :S lemon juice if applied directly onto the scalp helps get rid of dandruff.. please get rid of it before u go on to try hair masks and new shampoo's.. :)
:S Now I'm getting confused here...OK so first everyone said take oil...now you are saying don't use it? How come? Can it increase my dandruff o.O?????????? L'oreal is not good for me as it only increases my dandruff Neutrogena they should have in stores...
Hmmm, in my experience oil helps. BUT there's no reason why you shouldn't use T-Gel shampoo AND oil.
I had both dry hair and dandruff problems few months back and my dermatologist told me that dandruff occurs not because of dry scalp but because of oily scalp. Yes, that's true! You don't need more oil when you have dandruff! Plus when you're treating a skin problem you need to keep the area clean otherwise it doesn't really help solve the problem. When you leave oil in your hair for too long your scalp and hair picks up dirt, infact you don't want to leave oil in your hair even if you don't have any hair disorder. Try to keep it simple and you will get rid of dandruff sooner without creating more problems.
OK, I get it now CorruptAngel I'll definately take those things into consideration and purchase Neutrogena T Gal shampoo asap, thanks for all the advice girls! Now lets pray my hair will be back in shape insha'Allah.
t GEL is really bad shampooo makes hard dry and rough hair, i am facing dandruff problem since my childhoodabout last 20 years, i tryed all medicated shampoo with doctor recomanded but still nothing
recently i started to use shampoo NIZEROL this is for itchy scalps but i am using for dandruff and its works really well. after 2 month no more dandruff so plz try to use this shampoo you can buy over the counter here in usa .
^Nizoral is for both itchy dry scalp and dandruff.
I recommended in the other thread I linked earlier in this thread and it helped a bunch of people.
I personally feel all these home remedies and stuff are okay if the problem isn't a big deal and you have all that time to see if they work or not.
In this case, just use the darn shampoo, you will see a noticeable difference in just a few uses.
And just use an intensive or leave in conditioner. I gave some very good recommendations for those too, so did others.
Don't know what all the fuss is about to be honest. This could all be solved in 2-3 weeks.
Nizoral is not available in Germany :( maybe it is listed on ebay and I can order it along with some make-up...? I'm scared to use L'Oreal as the shampoo I have momentarily caused my dandruff to increase.
