^ Okay, he is not an alternative. He is not telling the truth. He will not bring CHANGE. He is a liar and impostor.
Again, let me know if you can recommend a better party with cleaner and more sincere leaders.

Re: Lotay Wanted
Thew whole word Lota does not apply here, Lotas as has been used in our political life has been where people switched parties for minister ship or joining the ruling party. Nothing of the sort here plus have you noticed that all of them who joined have resigned their seats. Doing the honourable thing of the first time in Pakistani politics.

This honorable thing was earlier done by the likes of Firdous Aashique Awan in 2007, when she red the writing on the wall...

Is that all you could come up with. This is a new phenomenon, show me how many previous proper lotas resigned and submitted themselves for re elction when they resigned their seats to join ruling parties.

I just showed you one! who did exactly the same, resigned from her minister like status joined PPP (which was opposition at that time) and then during election, got elected from her constituency and is now member of national assembly and has been minister since ( if not wrong she was minister for beh-bood-e-abaadi for first 2/3 years and then got current portfolio)... She is living example!!!and she almost repeated the same...

So now we have one example, maybe you will produce one or two more, pretty scant in over 60 years history. Compare that with people who have joined PTI.

Leaving your seat is honorable when you quit b/c of your principles...not b/c you want to secure your future in new set up.
Re: Lotay Wanted
Firdous Ashiq Awan, the bali jatti of National Assembly.

And how do you know they did not quit because of principles? Trouble is we make personal biases as facts.
Re: Lotay Wanted
And how do you know they did not quit because of principles?
That is a good question & all we have to is look at their history. Most of these people have been switching parties going back to Zia's time. Usually, their principles come into play around election time & the party willing to provide them tickets usually wins over lotas.
Re: Lotay Wanted

So you are telling us here that Owair and Jamal Laghari Joined PTI Because of IK's ideology
Or Kasoori have finally agreed that he was wrong?
Or Pervaiz Khattak have given up his practices
or Ishaq Khakwani is now (overnight) turned into a saint?
or Jahangir Tareen is not going to master-mind more cartels in Pakistan
or Mian Azhar and Zaheer Khokhar will not back stab when the time is right?
or BHinders of Gujranwala have suddenly wakenup from their sleep have have adopted to the principles of IK...
( I can carry on but i think above examples are enough)
Re: Lotay Wanted
The BIG difference this time around lota people is that people are leaving current ministerships and parliamentary seats. Previously they would leave a party to gain both things.
Yes some of them came just because they sensed the tide. But they will leave once they are not granted what they dream of. It is as simple as that.
IK is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He knows that people WILL vote for PTI ticket holders in urban areas. But NOT in rural areas where you have to make use of biraadri system and clans.
Re: Lotay Wanted
First off, get your definition os lota correct. All those you mention resigned from their ministry/MNA/MPA seat and also resigned from their party. Then they joined PTI. They are not lotas.
Secondly, your post is just another post full of ramblings. Do you have any opinion on what should be done?
Posts like these actually make me a more firm believer in IK and PTI. You are having the opposite effect my dear.
Re: Lotay Wanted
Stay where u are.
I'm not here to Change:D:
Re: Lotay Wanted
In my opinion, majority of PML-N or PPP politicians suffered from ancestral and semi dictator politics will join PTI. They did not have an effective alternate previously. Now they do and hence the defections..
Re: Lotay Wanted
lets not call everyone lota here... some may be really lotas, who realized that this govt (both PPP and PMLN) are going to expire and may not return to power, so they are jumping into the ship which is more likely to lead...
some may be genuine, who though their current party's policies are not good enough and they shiffed to PTI because they found its policies more inline with their principles... some were weak enough who could not stand up in their previous parties, some were baghi enough to have always been side lined...
PTI is now a cocktail of all good lota bad lota, and i'm hopping that PTI's internal accountability will keep purging the bad ones gradually and number of good "lotas" will increase with time. and also be realistic that non of these parties will ever be 100% clean, these people are coming from within the same society, there will always be a small of corrupts in every party no matter how clean they claim to be, our job is to keep bringing them in light and keep criticizing them for doing anything wrong, and encourage the ones who are honest and work efficiently.
Re: Lotay Wanted
^^ Among all the joinies, Javed Hashmi and SMQ are the ones who cannot be called Lota!!!
Re: Lotay Wanted
From what I understand: A person is not Lota who changes party while he was not member of assembly (on party ticket), or was member of assembly on party ticket but resigned before or just after changing party.
As for Lota: Lota are those who change party while they are elected member of assembly (NA or PA) on party ticket. This change could be from opposition to ruling party or from ruling party to opposition.
[Both changes in Pakistan bring personal benefits to Lotas:
From opposition to government: government offers money, undue privileges, enhanced influences, as well as posts.
From government to opposition: They are usually (not necessarily) sidelined low profile party members in assembly who are offered money and promises in future government or positions if government changes/falls due to their switch].
Re: Lotay Wanted
It is surprising to see so much opposition towards PTI and Imran Khan when PTI has done no sin in following Pakistani Political realities to have some impact on Pakistani power corridor.
I personally believe that Hashmi, kasuri, Quraishi, etc ... are all mega corrupts, same as Bhuttos, Shareefs, Zardaris, Khosas, Lagharis, Chaudharis, Swatis, Jatois, etc. Actually, I believe Imran also belong to same group of elites who are corrupt one way or another. All corrupts have one thing common, that is, none of them (or their ancestors) made honest money, status or position in their life, that is money, status or position from hard work. All of them live/lived their life beyond their known resources (money or ability).
But then, most Pakistani voters (especially in Punjab, Baluchistan, and interior Sindh), even many of those voters who are shouting against Imran and PTI on this forum, vote these corrupts or parties these corrupt so-called leaders belong. So, to attract their votes (votes of those today shouting against Imran), Imran has to bring those electable leaders into party (PTI) who these voters vote.
I would like to ask those shouting today against Imran shaking hands with known corrupts to tell us which party they have voted and/or supported in past and why ... and that which party they would vote and/or support in future and why?
[Zara ham bhie tou sunay kay katnay pavittar (saaf-o-shaffaf) logon ko yea knud vote daytay thay yea aagay day gay? :)
Please remember that Saaf-o-Shaffaf candidates do not join party that is headed by corrupt leader and if they joined unaware then they leave as soon as corruption of leader is known. So please do not call people like Hashmi, SMQ, or anyone saaf-o-shaffaf]
Re: Lotay Wanted
What a CHANGE is coming in our country!!
Imran is a new kid on the Establishment block. He will need support of members who are simply political agents of Establishment like 14 ex ministers.
Are PTI supporters really that naive that they cannot understand the game of Establishment and the way it is using IK, is it possible in current strong army control that Ek chidiya ka bacha bhi Chair tak pohanch jaye? Its not a tsunami he calling its a dirty waves of dirty water comming to hit back again nation.
