The science of astronomy states that the speed of planet Mars has been decreasing in its course toward the eastern direction in the few past weeks to the level we notice the “waver” between the east and the west..and on Wednesday the 30th of July the planet movement stopped going toward the eastern direction..

Then in the months of August and September…Mars changed its course in the opposite direction to the West- and that until the end of september..which means the sun will rise now from the west on Mars!!
And this weird phenomena of the opposite movement called “Retrograde Motion” Most scientist state that all the planets will go through the
same once at least and our planet Earth is one of them. Planet Earth will move in the opposite direction some day and the sun will rise from the west!!
This might occur soon and we are unaware!
Our beloved messenger Mohamed (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “One of the signs of the hour..the sun will rise from the west, where no longer tauba (forgiveness) will be granted” !!And the strange thing..most of our Shariah scholars mentioned that the rise of the sun from the west occurs only once..on that day..the sun will rise from the west..then again from the east..and continues until Allah wishes..and this is similar to what is happening to Mars..it stops, then it changes its course of direction for a short period of time..then returns to way once it was.
Abu Hurayra(R.A.) narrated..that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said :" The day of the hour will not come until the sun rises from the west, if
it rises and the people saw it they will all believe, when a time where nothing will be accepted anymore of believe the truth" [Abu Bukhari, Muslim) and from Abu Hurayra (R.A.) that the messenger (SAW) said: "Start with the six actions(he mentioned) the sun rising from the west) [Muslim]
And Abdullah Bin Amro (R.A.) said: (I memorized from the messenger (SAW) a hadith I will never forget..I heard the messenger of Allah (SAW) say:
The first aya to come the rise of the sun from the west) [Ahmad] And the messenger SAW “Allah (SWT) places HIS hand at night to forgive his morning sinners, and places in the morning to forgive his night sinners until the sun rises from the west” [Muslim]
This piece of news is very important as it brings with it a great sign of warning and remembrance of the coming of a new WORLD - the world of the Hereafter And it is also good material for calling others to ALLAH s.w.t. -whether for muslims, the unwary of us or the kufar. When we show this hadith that was told 1400 years ago about this miracle..you will see InshaALLAH, a lot will enter this beautiful religion…And the muslims if they see this phenomena happening in Mars..who knows maybe it would bring them closer to our CREATOR.

May Allah (swt) keep all of us in the Right path and provide us with success in this world as well as in the hereafter.

If this has been proven to have happened to Mars, you may be right that this could happen to earth as well. But then, it should be pretty easy for the astronomers to predict when this is going to happen.

If somebody can let us know when this would happen, I wil be happy. Hope, I can stop working if this is going to happen in the next 5-10 years

Seeing that you have mentioned retrograde motion, I thought about explaining it further. However before I do that some basic information about our solar system may be found useful. Our solar system has nine planets revolving around the sun. The closest to the sun is mercury and the farthest pluto. The order is, mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune and pluto.

The closest planet revolves around the sun fastest and the farthest slowest eg mercury travels around the sun in 88 earthly days, venus in 225 days, earth in 365 days, mars in 687 days, jupiter in 11.9 years, saturn in 29.5 years, uranus in 84 years, neptune in 164.8 years and pluto in 247.7 years.

These planets not only travel around the sun but also rotate around themselves ie on their own axis like children's roundabout in a playground or theme park or a top=lattoo. They also have a 3rd motion that is caused by tilt of the planets ie their poles or y axis are not exactly vertical with respect to the horizontal or x axis. Just like a top that tends to fall to one side while it is spinning. In other words top makes two movement a ) it spins and b ) it also makes a circular movement while spinning due to falling more to one side than the other ie it is not properly in balance.

Planets virtually do not slow down or stop or reverse their these motions at all, the effect of their interaction is not that much apparent. The planets rotate on their own axis ie complete one turn around themselves as follows. Mercury takes 59 earthly days, venus 243 days, earth 24 hours, mars 24.5 hours, jupiter 10 hours, saturn 10.25 hours, uranus 16 hours, neptune 18 hours and pluto 6.25 days. Save mercury and venus all the rest of planets have their own moons. Earth has only one moon but saturn has 21 moons.

Now the question, what is retrograde motion?

Retrograde motion is a phenomena that is observed from the earth by looking at other planets as to how they seem to move in the sky. Let us look at this in another way. Let say, karachi city is the sun and we have nine people orbiting around it in jets that are travelling at different speeds just like the planet travel around the sun. Because some planets travel faster than the earth and the others slower therefore some will pass the earth more than twice eg mercury the while others will be passed by the earth twice or yet more times eg mars etc, In fact the earth will pass pluto 6 times. So if some one was standing on the earth and looking at mars he will see mars as if it was going back and forth rather than orbiting around the sun. This phenomenon is true for any planet but not the earth because we are living on the earth. Only if we could live on some other planet, we will observe this phenomenon regarding the earth.

The other question is, why planets seem to be slowing down, stopping or even reversing?

Suppose the earth and mars start from the same point like two runners on a round racing track- one travelling at twice the speed of the other- At the starting off point they will both seem stationary to each other because they are both on the same side of the racing track and do not notice each other moving. As time goes on, one runner will start gaining distance on the other and a point will eventually reach that one runner will be exactly at the opposite side of the other on the racing track due to one travelling at twice the speed of the other. At this point they would seem to each other as if they are travelling in the opposite directions of each other like two trains pass each other coming from opposite sides. This gives rise to the phenomenon whereby they seem to each other slowing down, reversing or speeding up etc with respect to each other. The retrograde motion is a similar phenomenon as observed from the earth by people with regard to other planets. It has nothing to do with the rising of the sun from west. That is all about earth rotating around itself in a fixed direction that will never change till the end of the solar system.

Perhaps, the easiest way for learning about this phenomenon is for two people to go around a round table at different but fixed speeds and in the same direction like planets go around the sun and observing carefully how they see each other. From a distanse circular movements are not distinguishable but seem as if things are going side to side, up or down, or back and forth. I hope this explanation helps those interested in knowing about such things about our solar system.

MMughal what you are saying is that the rising of the sun from the west doesn't actually happen but just seems so when looking from another planet? So whenever on earth the sun rises from the west we won't be able to tell since we r living on this planet but someone looking from out of space or another planet will be able to tell?

A geological group who drilled a hole about 14.4 kilometers deep in the crust of the earth are saying that they heard human screams. Screams have been heard from the condemned souls from earth’s deepest hole. Terrified scientists are afraid they have let loose the evil powers of hell up to the earth’s surface.

What we heard turned those logically thinking scientists into a trembling ruins. It was a sometimes a weak, but high pitched sound which we thought to be coming from our own equipment," explained Dr. Azzacov. "But after some adjustments we comprehended that indeed the sound came from the earth’s interior. We could hardly believe our own ears. We heard a human voice, screaming in pain. Even though one voice was discernible, we could hear thousands, perhaps millions, in the background, of suffering souls screaming. After this ghastly discovery, about half of the scientists quit because of fear. Hopefully, that which is down there will stay there," Dr. Azzacov added.

I've read alot of books on the 'Unseen' which ofcourse involves the end of the world alot. I'm aware brother 'Stupid Idiot (no offence)' that all the smallers ones have been fulfilled, but big ones have not yet happened.

With the cloning technology getting momentum, I guess '50 women to every one man' could come true soon.

'There'll be few arabs left' could come true with a nuclear holocaust.

'Destruction of the Ka'ba' can be fulfilled with rebellion in Saudi Arabia that's fuelling nowadays.

'Dajjal' could be a new houdini (special effects and increasing number of illusionists).

And so on... but I would like to see one before my own eyes and Praise the Almighty like he should be.
