Okay here’s a suggestion.. if you want a light, nutritious meal in a nice upscale location, , well you woulda been disappointed last night, as FOod street is not it 
I finally tried food street last night. Mamoo ne davat kee thi humari 
We sat down at one of the first tables when u enter the gate.. we ordered mutton kababs, chicken kababs, chicken tikka, chicken biryani and two mutton karahis (1.5 kilos gosht I think).. along with the rotis, raita and botals which r standard wiht any desi meal … Foodwise, I didnt like the biryani at all, I thot it was wayy too greasy.. I like dhte kababs n tikkas , im not a big fan of mutton.. i admit that i loved the rotis, they were patlee and hot and crispy, jus how i like em 
I don’t think food street is really known as much for the actual food but rather the street 
it was drizzling slightly, so we went inside and oh my god, the place inside just stank.. it was really low class, ganda farsh, dust all over, etc.. we figured it was better to eat outside.. so we go back outside, and the hanairee (duststorm i think) began.. food came quickly, and we ate as quickly as possible.. that was the funnest part, eating quickly before it was all blown away.. who knows someone mighta inhaled a makhi w/o even realizing :p.. while we waited for the food, i was lookin at all the buildings/houses..i was surprised that ppl actually lived there.. for some reason i started thinkin of mardi gras (but w/o all the badmaashi-ness).. It was a gud xperience tho..As skanky as it was inside, if they were to fix up teh inside, then it wouldn’t really be “food street” it’d just be another restaurant.. itd’ lose the charm of eating on the street 
I think one thing they can imprve on is having umbrellas on the tables, so that the rain n duststorms wudnt disturb the diners 
Afterwards we were walking down the street a lil bit, (coz we had sat at the first table upon entering the gate).. just looking at everything.. i wanted an ice cream cone to finish off my food, one of those things that comes straight frm the machine, but i settled for a conetto instead .. so.. Food street, :k:
