I’m so jealous of all the pretty dresses these gori’s get to wear.
In the winter I can put on the any dress add me some tights and knee boots and I’m good to go without having Allah mian’s wrath on me…
but what about the summer.
AFSHI???
And there are only so many maxi dresses I can wear to the office; looks a tad to relaxed sometimes.
Re: Summer Attire for the Muslim Sheeeeekkkkk chicks
ok this is what im wearing today:
black harem pants - not sure of the material, but its soft and light. it's not linen because linen wrinkles too easy. I got it from H&M yesterday. =)
black peep toe heels - I can't wear sandle type shoes at work. :(
A leopard print chiffon top that has a drop waist with a pussy bow on the side of the hip - the colours of the top are gray and black with spots of mustard. I didn't tie the bow on the side, but left it hanging (to elongate my fat legs lol).
And since the top is see through, im wearing a long sleeved tee underneath.
topped it off with a mustard colour hijab and dark gold accessories (ring and bracelets).
when i wear a maxi dress to work, I usually pair it with a cardi or a blazer to make it more polished. I dont like having the straps to show (even if im wearing a top underneath) at work.
Also there are lot of nice maxi skirts out there...not only the floral ones, but solid colours as well.
try the colourblock trend with the skirt - but use only 2-3 colours and neutral accessories.
linen pants are nice..check out H&M. I just hate the fact that they wrinkle so easily.

sure..i'll come down tomorow ;)
colourblock is when you take a solid colour piece of clothing and wear it with another solid colour piece of clothign. for example, wearing green pants with a torqoise top and a purple blazer. the trick is not to look like a clown so you should only have 2-3 colours max to use. And the key to tying all these items together is to use neutral coloured accessories (belt, purse, shoes). Also, if one doesnt like to wear too much colours, use colors from the same shade, like a light blue bottom and then a darker blue top.

lol mun.
do you have the staples? a fitted blazer, a crisp white shirt,a flattering cut of trousers, a nice dark jean and a hot heel? If you do, then start from that!
