You are looking at that example negatively. By giving Madina example I meant, Muslim would know that if they can attack Madina, average would not be spared by them either. But maybe you think only lives in West are the innocent. Problem is with you people as you have been consistently denying the reason behind reaction. In fact you dont even consider it reaction let alone acknowledging the reason.

So Islamic State was an American idea? Did it somehow magically become popular after the war? Historically speaking, haven’t there been other groups wanting to establish sharia law before modern day terrorist groups? The only difference now and then is instability in the middle east caused by the war. Now these terrorist groups can openly do what they weren’t able to do before. If these were backlash attacks on the west, they wouldn’t target average muslims. The truth is they are targeting anyone who doesn’t follow their version of Islam, a version that very much exists but we keep denying or justifying it. Everybody is their target not just the west. The west has accepted hundreds and thousands of Syrian refugees because they do realize they too have blood on their hands. It’s easy to blame outsiders than to look within.
