I am not suggesting/proposing it. My post #91](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=91) is a response to post 90](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=90) (which proposed modification of controversial verses of religious texts). My post #91 opposed the view that certain religious text should be modified. I think modification of religious text is not feasible and won’t help a lot.

They don’t need to modified, they need to be studied, analyzed, debated. We cannot wear a 21st century thinking cap and read a 6th century book and we cannot take verses out of context and the situation to which they were revealed to the Prophet at the time. The problem nowadays is people don’t even think, debate, analyze Quran
