Seriously how many peaceful muslim countries can you count on your finger tips? Most of them are bleeding because of the twisted beliefs of a particular sect (aka Wahhabis) I know this is political Islam but TTP, ISIS, Boko Haram, Al_Shababa, Al-Qaeda etc. ALL get inspiration from Saudi Wahhabism and ALL JUSTIFY their atrocities in the name of Islam. Look at Syria, Iraq, Kuwait, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Saudi, Afghanistan and Pakistan. All are bleeding because of people holding extremist ideologies. Even if there is foreign hand in some of these acts, the people who are actually carrying out the atrocities are all locals.

I was born and raised in Kuwait and have lived for 20+ years there. I can not imagine this happened in one of the supposedly safest places ! Very Sad.

Not all wahabis, but hardcore salafis do believe Shias to be outside the fold of Islam. It's time we muslims realize that Wahabism has given birth to radical Islam.

If history was documented clearly in the Middle East you would see how the Al Saud and Al Wahab families took 'power and glory' ... They did it by destroying shrines and forcing people to to accept their way or be killed. They fought the bedouins, shi'a, sufis of their own lands and took the war to the Ottomans to break away from the caliphate ... You will read statements like ... "On the collapse of the Ottoman Empire ... X,y z ..." But one should ask how did it 'collapse' in the Hejaz region? It was a coup. Undeniably this same ideology has resurfaced with more septic potency than before.
