Re: suicide bomber strike mosque in Kuwait
Is there diff? ISIS came out of Saudi Whahabi beliefs.
Yeah ISIS came out of Wahabism but it isn't wahabi. Just like Houthi came out of Zaidi but it isn't Zaidi.

Amusingly odd example. Zaidis couldn't be more proud of Houthis. In fact Houthis are latest heroes in most of the Middle East, particularly in the crescent of resistance.

Not all Zaydis are Houthis. There are pro-establishment Zaydis who don't support Houthis, correct me if I'm wrong.
Re: suicide bomber strike mosque in Kuwait
Technically and fairly all Wahabis should not be blamed for this ... this is an ISIS problem.
It would be interesting to know however how various people view the ISIS phenomenon ...
Should they be mass killed - no questions asked?
Should they be heavily fought against?
Should they be spoken against?
Should they be engaged and guided away from what they are doing?
Should they be ignored?
Should excuses be made for them?
Should they be verbally supported?
Should they be aided?
My personal inclinations are points 4 and 3, and 2 if necessary.

I see you are staying true with the guidance of the scholars ... :)

That I don't agree with. Wahabism is a dangerous ideology and should be reprimanded.
Re: suicide bomber strike mosque in Kuwait
You meant to say "all Sunni terrorist groups".
I don't get what you want to say.
Re: suicide bomber strike mosque in Kuwait
And round and round we go.

Doesn't matter. :/
Re: suicide bomber strike mosque in Kuwait

It's pretty simple. ISIS have come out from wahabis but they're not wahabi....means they're much more worse than any khwarij throughout the Islamic history.
Re: suicide bomber strike mosque in Kuwait
Noam Chomsky has spoken about ISIS AND Wahhabbism extensively in many of his interviews. Worth a Listen! and as Ali-Syed said, It's about time we acknowledge the connection between Wahhabism and many of these Jihadi Movements across the globe. It's important to learn about the history of Wahhbism to understand ISIS, because it is their ideological source.
Re: suicide bomber strike mosque in Kuwait
^Thanks Rangoli. Chomsky makes the hardest of things sound simple to understand.
In case somebody wants to hear it straight from horses mouth then on ISIS/Daesh website - I am not going to link it here- they categorically say that their methodology is not new but doing revival of what "Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Wahab did in Dariyah".
