dude there are conspiracy theories aplenty by yer apple pie and err whatever else americans also. anything tranging from ufos to elvis to jfk to freemasons.
i think its a sign of too much free time and inability to accept things at face value.
the scale, style and consequences of large-scale attacks in Baghdad however isn't Shia/sunni on Sunni/Shia violence.. it is much more sophisticated than that.
A fairly simple concept to grab.. IF you're willing to look beyond just placing the entire blame on brown people for their miseries.
P.S. Fraudia bhai jaan.. 'face value' is what the boob tube tells you and it's lied consistently for the past many years.. no reason to believe it now.
Fact - the shia/sunni violence had destroyed whatever chance the US had to have a successful outcome in Iraq. That is fairly simple to understand IF you look beyond placing the blame on the US and Jews for all the brown people's misery.
During the time of British occupation of Iraq back in 1900s, they also killed many Iraqis in order to keep the populous under control. These killings serve purpose of the occupation force more than they serve the needs of sunnis or shias. Shias and sunnis have been living there since centuries... why this type of killing when an occupation force is there?
I am not saying there are no shia sunni attacks, there very well maybe such attacks which originate from past misunderstandings and differences/revenge.
These are the three reasons why such attacks are taking place:
Lawlessness
Government / Police involvement
Weapons are freely available
Revenge
Existence of stupid and pathetic Militias *(Personally, anybody who forms one should be shot dead, it is that dangerous.)
*FIX # 1 and #2, and rest will eventually fix themselves.
Why does an occupation force need to keep killing? Think about it, if they are not fighting among themselves, they would be thinking about "hmmm why is this american soldier over here" or maybe "what are they doing on our oil fields..."
That is the problem. IRaq is in serious shortage of honest and good people who would govern based on principle and ethics rather than personal grudges and sect affiliation. Even if there are, they are paid off or threatened... by #5 and #2.
Without further arguement and counter-arguement, all must condemn the suicide bombings in all cases. Killing of civilians and children, whether it's Labanon, Palestine, Israel, Iraq, Kashmir, Mumbai, New York etc. is equally damning and must be opposed by all groups...
Divide it up into three countries or "interim" areas until they start talking on table.
Let sunnis manage their people and affairs, let shias do the same for themselves and Kurds for themselves. Right now, you got shias bullying Sunnis, and sunnis doing the same when they get the chance. If they are restricted to their own litle regions, we may see some turn around to peace.
If you had something witty or original to say that would be one thing, but just say you don’t have a solution to the shia-sunni civil war if you don’t have one.
^ whether I had a solution or not, I wouldn't send my people for covert operation just to incite a fight between old rivals for my own selfish purposes.
