There is something fishy about number 1, no upper middle class person in this day and age, does a job of Rs /20,000. I am paying our live in maasi 20,000 per month currently. And how do u know he really loves u? And his mom is not making it up? R u sure it's their house and not a rented one.
Are you paying 20000 Rupee or just converting the dollars in Rupee!

Speaking very generally it's not that uncommon for wealthy business people to not be too bothered about their kids going to uni..
I agree with this general observation but I must add that if they are so ruch why is he bothering to work. If they can afford to leave him uneducated working for 20000 makes no sense. Also to the op, education has a lot of effect on mindset. It hones you. It's a tool for rounding off your personality as well as preparing you for the real world. His immaturity in 'love at first sight' coincides with his lack of further education.

Go for a third rishta. Education is important along with family background as well. Doesn't matter if the family did not make much money but how they conduct themselves counts a lot. I understand that in an arranged rishta you may not have the luxury of talking to the guys themselves. In such case you would have to look at the family. If you have to choose between both guys and can't wait for another rishta then rishta number 1 is better.

Well that would be a guy worth staying away from. But a guy who is interested in educating himself and is smart and is respectful to you, and your personalities are compatible, and you share similar views on religion/politics/cultural values, then even if he lives in gulshan jauhar, he's worth it.
What's wrong with folks from Gulshan anyway? I have relatives and friends from those areas and they're quality people.
Not everyone worth marrying is from defence.
Reading her post, the point i understood is that she is not worried about Gulshan or gulistan e jauhar but she has issues with the area the guy was living earlier and where his family still living.
and yes, folks living in Gulshan are as cool as folks living in Clifton/defence/KDA/Bahadurabad/PECHS etc.

to correct you, there are fresh graduates from upper middle class and even upper class who are working in Karachi for even less than 20k a month!! And this i am talking about professionally qualified people. in fact it is easier for upper middle and upper class kids to work for peanuts at the start of their career as they don't really have to worry about the finances or running the house since they belong to well off families. they agree to work for less in order to get into a good well reputed organizations where it is hard to get in and once you are in you get great exposure and opportunities to progress fast.
so if a guy with only bachelors degree working for 20K a month doesn't imply something fishy.

You say youre not very pretty so you should logically be ok with the average looking guy on looks alone. The first guy needs to have some standards and find someone his equal in looks. Guys are so desperate these days.
