The latest headache ever since I’ve gotten back from the US is finding a good tailor in Lahore.
All those that I have tried have so far disappointed me in some way. I’m getting married in 6 weeks and really want my expensive clothes to be stitched well, especially sari blouses, anarkalis and pants
Can you guys recommend some good tailors in Lahore, who have neatness in stitching, do cuts well, and are reliable.

thanks, I just checked this thread. the funny part is the Nadeem one suggested is so close, in fact walking distance, from my future susraal lol!
I'm definitely going to hunt for him soon
the 2500 ones suggested are steeeeeep! but I might go to them for an anarkali

umm i dont know actually my chachi gets her clothes stitched from there......i will check frm her soon and will tell you about it:)
but he stitches AWESOME stuff...... and shayd thora expensive hoga >..:S

Marzi ka Darzi is located in the commercial area of Sector DD, Phase 4, Defence, Lahore.
“Where is Defence?” is not difficult to find out.

You could also try out some ready-made stuff from Generations or Cynosure. They generally have very trendy stuff and save you the hassle of having to deal with tailors!

The name of the shop is truly unique and amusing. That was the very reason in the first place that this stitching place caught my attention.
In fact, this is not just a plain darzi shop. It is one step above that. The enterprise is being run by an NCA qualified lady, Hamna Shehzad.
The quality of workmanship there is clearly above the ordinary.

I just saw where marzi ka darzi is, lol. It was funny. Its like 5 mins drive frm my place :D i hope he's a good tailor n charges not stupidly expensive :D wl check out 2morow.

i went there 2 days ago, their "baji" was nt there hence cudnt get the rates. I called up the baji n she says come visit me which i wl when i get a chance. But i have a strong feeling its gonna be pretty expensive stitchinG :D they didnt get a shop at such an area for nothing :P
