after 2 and half years of use my mascara (clinique’s high impact) finally dried out and i ordered another one online.
Guess what?
the new tube is nothing like the old one i used for two years. it’s really runny and made my lashes clump together i am very very disappointed at that product now.
someone please suggest me a good mascara.
i have very pakistani/indian looking lashes. Black, kind of thick and not too long or short. i want both volume and length. i liked how my old clinique’s mascara used to give them that fan like appearance by coating each lash, seperating them, and also used to give a little bit of length.
Diorshow and it's arch enemy Ysl Faux Cils (got a bit of a funny smell tho, I hated it but I know some people think it's nice), Max Factor 2000 Calorie, L'Oreal Voluminous are the ones that usually get mentioned and a lot of people's favourites :)
I like Diorshow but I love L'oreal's volumnous even more! It's cheaper than the other one and works amazingly. I bought it after alot of people mentioned it here, infact I even texted somegroovychick in the middle of my shopping to ask which mascara everyone was talking about :D haha.. but yeah, I am happy with it!
I bought two- one was the traditional gold colored one and the second one was also voluminous but in a black bottle, I couldn't decide between the two- here they are:

I used the black one first and looooved it. It really thickens your lashes and doesn't clump. I started using the gold one just a couple of weeks ago and like that one as well, it's more for the daytime whereas the black one gives more of a dramatic look so it will go well with a party makeup.
I don't use mascara that often....but I like Great Lash by Maybelline....when I'm in the mood to play up my eyes, lol.
Here's a tip that I've tried several time and it's helpful. Warm the tip of your eyelash curler with a hair dryer for about 5 seconds. You don't want to get it too hot...otherwise you'll scald your eyelid. But a slight amount of warmth on your eyelash curler will curl your eyelashes better. And then apply your favorite mascara. Or you can get the heated eyelash curlers :)

my mother got the great lash mascara free from ulta and i hated it (sorry) the consistency of that mascara is too runny that i felt like it smeared in my eyes and my eyes started burning. also since it's too runny it clumps the lashes together and i feel like i have spidery leg lashes.
but i think the black color is really nice i wish i can find such a dark black color in some other mascara.
I agree with the L’oreal one that Shay recommended.
I am also in love with Bourjois liner effect mascara as of late. It lengthens, elongates and coats each eyelash separately, which makes your lashes look:hayaa:
i like maybelline xxl dual mascara n cover girl lashblast..i normally only use the black side of maybelline xxl large thats supposed to give ur eyelashes more volume n skip the white partthat gives em more length as my eyelashes r quite long already
Cant go wrong with Maybelline's great lash, just try it! CVS/Rite aid will always return it if its open.
shay i remember trying that loreal ones in HS, but it was so long ago i dont remember now. Will definitely look at those once i am bored...err rrun out of my others. :D
