I really cannot understand why so many people can sit for upto 3 hours and watch an Indian film. They are the most stupid form of entertainment ever.
The story in all the films is the same, the actors and actresses are members of the same families, all the film stars now are either sons, daughters, nephews of the Kapoors, the Bachchans the Roshans or Khans, there is no new natural talent coming through.
Whereas the Pakistani dramas are totally brilliant, the story lines are different and thought provoking, and they are entertainment which the whole family can enjoy.
Well i know all indian films are not great but they are all not bad. I still like watching them. I do agree with you that pakistani dramas are very good but they are very long also and require a lot of time to watch. I watch both indian movies and pakistani dramas when i have the time.
Imtiaz, did David Dhawan or Yash Chopra hold a gun to your head and force you to watch Indian Movies.And also most of the theatres I know allow people to leave the hall in between a movie, so you don't have to remain in the hall for all the 3 hours.
Watching movies is a matter of personal choice....brother...don't force your opinion on others......

What do Indian movies have to offer to young people besides ===>
-How to get a girl and make her run away from her family and home!
-How to fall in love!
-How to pray to some man-made statue!
As we all know the topic and theme of all Indian movies is "love and falling in love and some pathetic love story" what else?
You guys try to promote love, by having a half-naked cheap whore dance and shake her few pounds here and there and you call it love promoting and movies full of lessons? Is having "half-naked" dancer a indian way of pormoting love and peace???
Come up with something new for another 50 years...!

Nobody has forced anyone to watch any film I agree, but then again no one forces anyone to watch pornographic movies but they still exist and are making huge profits…and Indians films are rapidly heading towards being pornographic.
I personally have not watched an Indian film for over 8 years, I suppose I have ‘grown up’!!! Sometimes I sit down and watch the Cartoon network with my nieces and nephews and I think they are much better!!! I think they are much more intellectually stimulating than Indian films.
Actually here’s a challenge, I am pretty sure that I can tell whats gonna happen in any Indian film, after having just watched the first 20 minutes! …to be honest I think most people can!!!

But most people I know watch Hindi/Indian movies for entertainment rather than being intellectually stimulated. Actors dancing around trees is not supposed to be an intellectual thing anyway.
As for pornography, well people love it.. so business flourishes. Its all a question of demand and supply brother.

Why isn't any Indian here giving any opinion on Pak Movies/Dramas, that's because they don't watch them. So if u too don't like Indian movies, don't watch them. The reason that we Pakistanis are discussing it here means that we have been watching them and I suspect we hate the fact we Pakis love something Indian. Say it Jasleen !!

What's up with India makig these movies about Pak/India War? I mean they can make the movies about war but why allways the actress/girl is a MUSLIM and the GUY is actor/guy is HINDU or why does allways in these movies a Muslim girl falls for a HINDU guy. Its like there are hundreds of muslim women diein to get a HINDU guy!
That's soo lame of Indians. All they are doing is putting a bad image about Pak men and women. Infact Indian gals can't get enough of Muslim guys! Look at all those Khans in Indian Movies.....Indian girls die for them.....

Actually many famous Indians have origin in Pakistan. Prithwiraj Kapoor, father of Raj Kapoor came from NWFP. Dilip Kumar came from Peshawar. Dev Anand was born in Lahore. Rafi was from Pakistani part of Punjab. Sahir was in Pakistan for an year after Pakistan formed and then went to India. BR Chopra migrated. Geeta Dutt was born in what is Bangladesh now and the list goes on.
Except Noor Jehan and Khurshid Anwar, all the rest big guys tried to go to Bombay after partition, irrespective of religion.
i used to watch it but not no more yeah there is a lot of paki's who loves indian movies but not me(anymore) its been a while since i have seen any indian movie.
who said indian ppl dont watch paki drama's i dont know about paki movie but they all love the drama's i know for fact cus everytime i talk to any indian they ask me about any new drama.
they love paki music as well. any soundterk that u buy it has one of two song from pakistan.
one more thing last indian movie i saw was a copy of pakistani drama(unkahi)?
Hey! i think indian movies are nice but only some of them i mean i watched FIZA it's a nice movie very realistic and not at all prejudiced i liked it i think everyone should watch the movie!
I personally don't have a problem with Pakistanis watching Indian movies but what about the people who hate India so much but still a big hindi film fanatic.
For example, one day you will see them bashing Indians or Hindus in the Kashmiri or Religion forum than the next day they post their reviews on new Indian films on this forum.
