went through the whole thread…its not surprising to see Pakistanis from two completely opposite points of view..
somewhere in the middle lies ‘picoico’s’ take on the whole issue and I completely agree..‘PCG’ got him wrong somewhere inbetween the lines..
but I was happy to see ‘PCG’s’ response..she could see where the students are coming from.. 
yes the students took law into their own hands..there was a reason for that..however, still against the law..
even bigger is the ill-brothels in the society (if they werent operating in Islamabad 20 years ago, does not mean they’re not there today) that prompted them to take such an action..
yes they are both wrong, i’d side with the students
again if u like, suicide bombers are the spreading ill of the society, identifying them and killing them by taking law into your own hands would be similar to the above situation..
both sides would be wrong, i’ll side with u
such course of action shouldnt, by all means, become the norm..this should be the wake up call for the state institutions..to start performing properly..
i so wish to see all of us united as Muslims, or atleast as Pakistanis..
but our current affairs threads picture exactly the opposite..not listening to each other..name calling..dis-respecting..non tolerance towards each other..depicting the situation on ground in our country..atleast in the political arena..
if we wudnt change this..who would
we are all one..there are things that unite us at so many levels..we’re all humans..we’re all muslims..we’re all pakistanis
