I think students protest could be best thing yet. Most of the tyrannical regimes in Easter Europe were ousted b/c of students protests.

Around one hundred students gathered at the gate of FAST, Lahore along with a few faculty members including Dr. Durrani for a peaceful protest against emergency. Police, after getting this information and expecting that this crowd will grow large in numbers and will be heading to somewhere , reached the campus. Seeing the police, all the protectors moved into the campus through the gate. The police later closed the gates of FAST and is still there monitoring the situation though the purpose was just to show a peaceful protest and it was totally an unplanned activity, the crowd was not heading anywhere other than to protest being there at the campus gate.
Update: Police entered into the campus and arrested 3 guys. They have surrounded the campus as if its Lal Masjid.
So how many people here thinks that Musharraf should bomb the place as there might be other terrorists there... Musharraf should show no mercy ... irrespective of the fact that that Waseem Sajjad is the Chancellor and Musharraf is the Patron of this University .. rather it will prove that Musharraf is honest.. am i right na.;)

unfortunately these students r of computer science mostly... so they can only work on computer keyboard.. can't even hold a kalam (pen) properly...
But our police is very very farsighted and they saw the genes of terrorists in them... so as ICONCLAST said that they should be bombed on sight... may be we should ask american to fire few laser guided cruise missile on them... wots the matter if they are sons and brothers of somebody...

In live program on GEO, Kamran Khan was asking AKram Shaikh the procedures with government if they want to lift emergency.
Anyhow during the talk Karman Khan questioned why Public is not responding against emergency, and mentioned that today (Wednesday) PML(N) gave protest call against emergency in Lahore (where probably NS should have been most popular), but what Karmran Khan mentioned that around 12 to 14 responded (twelve to fourteen, that is what I heard … I just wrote that in words so that some might believe I missed some zeros). What is that? It is pathetic. Kala-kartoot (black coat) Lawyers are becoming Qurbani ka bakra and no people behind them? Is that fair?

This is on Student Protest... keep it on student protest news and views... Its really good to c that finally student of some well recognized and high standard universities are taking initiative.. and i have high hopes if the leader from these well recoginized universities continue with the protest and get some momentum then this will be a gr8 blessing in disguise for the entire nation from this emergency... They are sensible and very logical people... and above any party politics..
There is another protest plan for a very near future.. i won't disclose the location and time as i m sure there r quite a few traitors on these forum... so get in touch with your batch representative or university representative as soon as possible... Some other measures are also under discussion for keeping it peaceful but very forcefull too...
So meet you on the protest ground...
