Stuck up girls

Re: Stuck up girls

sanu ek pal chain na aave, sajna teray bina

You dont know a single person who thinks they're better than everybody because of what school they went to, what field they work in, what job they have?

Like I said....majority of the women i know are down to earth and humble (whether they work or not) and dont have such an attitude..but its those few who do. They give working/professional women a bad name....

As for looking down on secretary/fast food workers these are the posts I was referring to. I dont know ANY job thats easy and at the same time ridiculously overpaid.

saanu kaleya jee nayo lagda...sajnaaaaaaaaaaaaaa terey binaaaaaaaaaa aaa!!

My guess is there are a few things that contribute to this:

  1. The said people are probably judgemental of others anyway.
  2. Possibly some other personal problems making them miserable.
  3. They spent a lot of time and effort on their education/career and therefore it holds a lot of value to them (possibly more than it does from someone’s perspective aside from their own).
  4. They think it gives them value, therefore those who don’t have what they do (by striving for it like they did) don’t have the same value as they do (in their eyes).

Re: Stuck up girls

think of the PC-MAC debate......both are equally productive..depends who owns one..there is a reason for both to be around-everyone is different- everyone's needs are different.....and neither is superior...we only have choices based on our needs...so there cant be either/or...

Re: Stuck up girls

what's wrong with being stuck up and miserable? sheeessshh

it seems there are 3 type of girls being referred to in this thread

  1. girls who suck cuz they work and think they're better than the dependent stay at home wives/moms

  2. girls who suck cuz they stay at home and look down on the working woman cuz she's too selfish to make sacrifices for her family

  3. girls who hate on both type 1 and type 2 and think they're better than everybody cuz they can look past the judgemental hateful type of gals out there.

sooo isn't everyone judging everyone? i mean, maybe we should all be more understanding of the "stuckup" types cuz they're soo insecure but its like if we're thinking that the stuck up ones are worse than us cuz they have insecurities aren't we ourselves just making ourselves feel better? seems like one long cycle of girls hating on each other and trying to prove they are better.

That's women for ya :D

Re: Stuck up girls

I agree that many women who don't work have a lot more to offer in life, and could do with being more productive to society, which doesn't necessarily mean doing some stupid office job at a big capitalist firm slaving for some whitecollarman for whom productivity = a*bigbonusinhispocket*. However, being a full time mother is hard work and in no way to be underestimated, it's not only about feeding kids and folding their nappies and wiping their poo, kids need to be constantly supervised. Serious **** hits the fan when the mum realises her 2 year old took a swig at a bottle of calpol when she stepped outside the room for half a second, or when her 5 month old accidentally swallowed a metal key ring while playing. It is really naive to disregard the amount of effort a mother puts in for her children and to discount the seriousness of her job.

Re: Stuck up girls

easy .... difficult ....... isn't it all relative?

What may be easy for me could be very difficult for another.......be it a pot of daal or a boardroom brawl. How can we sit here and compare?

I've grazed on both sides of the fence and there are pros and cons either way.

My personal opinion? The priority of the role should determine which is more "important" rather than difficult. Is it more important for a woman to contribute to the financial well-being of her family unit by having a career or is it more important for her to remain at home and focus her efforts on the children? My answer: the children win. So which job is tougher? Minding the home and rearing children to be healthy, wholesome individuals.

Its a competitive world out there after all

PCG…no offense but, out of curiousity…after reading this whole thread, i HAVE to ask…exactly WHAT is your job? what do you do that makes u sound like the busiest and most ''STRESSED" woman in the world?? wat are you, like a CEO of a multi billion dollar company or something?? :hmmm:

Re: Stuck up girls

Oz1217 they put others down because they feel they are missing out on a big part of life. If they ridicule you and others who place their families before their careers they feel that they are not making a mistake.
