Speaking of Indian accents I find it really strange how Freida Pinto gets slated back in India for changing her accent..

She’s an actress.. isn’t that what she’s meant to do to get more roles?? And even if she wasn’t it obviously makes it easier for people around her to understand what she’s saying..

We wouldn’t purposely speak Urdu or Hindi with a strong English accent and misspronounce words just to show we’re ‘authentic’, would we..
