I havent really had much street food here because they dont use halal meat. On devon, there arent any street vendors...just a lot of restaurants so in that way its awesome.

Dubai of course. Where else? My city. Shawerma's roots can be questioned. Some say it originated from Greece. Anyway, there's this Shawerma which is a bit spicy and tastes different than normal shawerma in the city and its called Mexeeki shaahwerma (mexican shawerma). As for Manakesh, it is like a round shaped dough like pizza and there's cheese on it, some bakers fold it and bake it, some just leave it like that and bake it. Then they give it to you with piping hot melting cheese. WHICH IS THE BOMB!

I was in Dubai a few weeks ago and I was really looking forward to a good shawarma cuz I'm not too crazy about the ones in the US. The ones I had in Dubai were okay. The best shawarmas I've ever had are from a small restaurant called King Of Juice in Saudi....they make it perfect....it's not dry, right amount of meet, put the right amount of garlic sauce (they make the best sauce), tomatoes/pickles/onions. It's been years...I'd go back for just that.
Nothing beats the ganday manday burgers you get on Lahore streets every other corner. Those with egg, shami kabab and some ketchup & veges. Ohoho yummy!!!
Other than that samosas, jalebis, mooli katti huwee, naan-channay .. i’d just die to have them.
50 ka bi ho toh bhi mai khaungi. They are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo supaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa yummmyyyyyyyyy!!! McDonalds, Burger King, Hardees - Koi muqabla he nahi rethri-walay-burger sai :k:
