There’s a difference between having an “inner child” and having an “inner, badtameez child” When I was a kid, that kind of behavior would have landed me an ass whooping to remember. i’m all for children playing and being imaginative, but children pushing adults and generally being badtameez, there’s no excuse for that and there is no excuse for defending that kind of behavior. Code_red, excuse me for saying this, but it sounds like these are the type of children you have or plan to have.
I have in the past asked very loudly “Excuse me, who’s this child with?” and when I receive an answer, i will usually say “Could you please make sure he/she doesn’t hurt him/herself or others with all the running around they’re doing”
