Strange Boycott

Re: Strange Boycott

What? Paper isn’t an upgrade, it’s a downgrade. I’d rather wash my bottoms with water than use paper :disgust: down there.

Re: Strange Boycott

I think the situation in rural Pakistan changed a little. In Umar Kot area (Thar desert), there is a small village where some of our relatives live. Once my cousins visited them and they were well received and were served like VIPs as is the culture of Sindh is. They were only horrified to find that there was no latrine in the house (talking of 20 years ago) and they had to go in open air for relieving themselves. When next time, after few years, they were invited they refused to go just because of the latrine issue. Then they were told that now they got a latrine in the house and my cousin rushed to the village. When they returned, we asked them ‘how was the trip’. They said although now they got a bath room with marbles and all that, but we again had to go in open fields because there was no water in bath room :bummer:

It is said that when Humayon reach Sindh, he had only one suit and he had to borrow a suit from local ruler while his suit was sent for laundry. On the birth of Akbar, he did not have anything to offer except some musk. :frowning:
