Stop using the word "Aurat" for women

Re: Stop using the word “Aurat” for women

TLK, Urdu speakers tend to not like to use the words of their language. Since Persian and Arabic have been considered “Muslim” language, therefore they prefer using words from these languages than theirs.

Thus many original Urdu words are going archaic. Words like ‘aarsi’ for mirror (aaina), payrr for tree (darakht).

Can anyone imagine that there be no word for “woman” in original Urdu? No way.
If women were present in subcontinent before Persian/Arabic/Turkish invasion than there must have been some word used to describe women as well.

Anyway. I think we are going outside the scope of this thread. So I stop.
I had a suggestion. Now it up to people to agree or disagree. No need to convince anyone.
To all: “khushi take, khushi no take”.
