in my anthropology class today, some american girl said in her speech that in islam, women who are accused of adultry are stonned to death, which right and wrong. it is correct because this is the islamic punishment for adultrers BUT if you note, she didn’t mention men there. so after calss i talked to my teacher about it and clarified it that is FOR MEN AS WELL. so she told me why don’t you give a speech on monday to the whole class, which consists of more than a 100 students. i said ok but i am really nervouse because this is what i wanted to avoid, to speak before the whole class, but now i have to do this for sake of islam because people are already confused about islam A LOT. so pray that it goes well and i don’t get nervous.

1) Married woman and single guy
2) Married guy and signle woman
3) Married folks but not husband and wife
and in rare cases
4) Age factor of the person in question

Well, if it’s in the Koran, it’s what it is since after all, it is the word of Allah. On a seperate note, stoning is such a medieval form of punishment if applied to today’s times. The gas chamber or firing squad seem the better options, no?! :kaboom: :soldier: 
It doesn't say in the Quran that adultrers should be stoned to death.
The Quran mentions 100 lashes as the punihsment for illegal sexual intercourse. It doesn’t mention stoning.
The punihsment of stoning is invoked based on a several Hadiths, which most scholars agree carry a high degree of authenticity. It is recorded that the Khalifah and Amir-ul-Mumineen Umar Bin Al-Khattab (ra) was very concerned that given the absence of a directive to stone to death in the Quran, Muslims in later times would stop doing it despite its being done in the time of the Prophet (saws)

stoning to death is mentioned in the sahih hadith, as a man came upto the prophet(saw) and told him i have had illegal relations with a woman. the prophet was looking for excuses for him, so that he might not get the punishment of stoning to death. many hadiths state stoning of death for a married man or woman who have sex outside marriage. the lashing is for the man or woman who are single.

What is sick uklawyer is adultery.
If death is the sentence, then why do it in such a horrific manner? There are many more reasonable ways to put someone to death. That practice should be abolished everywhere, as it's just too barbaric. As a human being, I can never participate or even watch this being done to another human being.
why people take such a risk to commit adutery? is it that hard
to be good voluntarily?

That punishment is pretty much irrelavent in todays society and in most countries. I'd like to see a muslim person being stoned to death for adultry anywhere in North America for instance. It would be the stoners who would be put to death for murder (in some cases) or jailed for life.
