He is responsible for making the technology world what it is. Companies were afraid to innovate but he changed it all through invention like iPod and hasnt looked back since then. Of course it was not a one man show but he has always been brains behind superb ideas apple produced time and again.

Oh not to worry I will although I don’t particularly like zarda or palao.

What I meant was, will his resignation affect what apple is known as right now? Do you all think apple will continue to be able to provide the products it does?

See that’s what I mean, if he was the brains behind it all it might change things. Although the link TLK posted above it says he has asked to stay on the board as chairman so he will be around.

It could mean a lot.if you watch apple documentary’ it talks about all the CEOs and no one had same vision as steve. If you remember, apple was almost gone in 90’s, and then they brought back steve who launched iPod and that is when things changed. Same with microsoft. Can we honestly say that Microsoft is the same company after bill gates.

So, it can very well have a huge impact on apple. It could be a positive change with new innovative ideas or not so much. Let’s see how it goes in the coming days.

When a company is at its peak, the only way left is down. I don’t think any replacement guy can best out Jobs’s success. I know Jobs is still there as the Chairman of the board, but still.

When he returned back to Apple in 1997, he totally changed the company vision and provided new energy to the company. He will be missed in Apple.
