^ I’m fairly light skinned too and people would approach me in college speaking arabic languages thinking I was middle eastern also besides the skin tone I think it was because I also have the stereotypical big eyes associated with the “middle eastern identity”, the Pakistani’s on campus thought I was pathaan but I am neither of those ethnicities :p. I am fluent in Pakistani languages too which surprises some desi aunties. Also they think just because your raised in America you should have a certain “I don’t care” selfish persona which I don’t believe I have.

^not really, i’m weary of aunties telling me that I should eat more n claiming I have become thinner from they last saw me regardless of the fact that i’ve actually gained weight .. and the look is worst of all .

some day I will tell them aunty u could do with eating less
