That is my split personality!!!

There are made up events in the story!!! RV your are smart and keen to learn.
But there are things which only "doing" life can teach you.

I know PM that there are some things in life that you can only learn from experience. Lekin har banday ka experience aik jaisa nahin hota. If someone has different experience from you, that doesn't mean they are lying.

I agree with redvelvet PM, you shud be a little more courteous, instead of outright accusations of lying and all, you cud have pointed out on how to make part 2 better. It sounded too much like Indian soap, i mean instead of big party, having a big stage, camera showing the mom tearing in joy and then turning to aunt with background music dhan, dhan, dhan, making it private and throwing in few more emotions wud have been much better. Like discussing the issue first among siblings, eahc sharing a few hitherto untold stories of evil aunt, may be opposition from one of siblings etc will make it much better. May be others can ddi an opinion or two.

we didnt throw a party and there was no music. indian drama? well sure, you are spot on because that sounds like my family! we love drama and making life hell for others!

the whole atmosphere of the dinner was very serious and everyone kept asking what the dinner was for and why so many people were invited.

so many things have happened to my step mom in the past and that too infront of 300 people at someone's massive birthday party. but i dont want to discuss that here and i am sure it would be very shocking to hear. but that stuff is too personal. my brothers made the speech because we wanted things to change in our family. all the people we invited were involved yaar! all of them!

but believe you me, it was no party and we didnt want to make it private! no way...everyone was involved and we wanted everyone to hear what we had to say!

and believe you me things have changed and we are always going to stand by our Ammie.
