vineshvk ...is it not very strange that this Lahori 573 is sitting and typing a lengthy text from a Hindu book. This time he is conscious not write the authors/ translator’ name because he was beaten in his earlier thread.
i dont think indian govermant derives it laws from any relgious books or uses
any reference in courts from relgious books. i dont know about pakistan .
do you use sharia law 100% or mixture of english law and islamic law.
Manu Samriti, the Book of Laws in Hinduism says the following about women..................
"Good looks do not matter to them, nor do they care about youth; 'A man!' they say, and enjoy s...... with him, whether he is good-looking or ugly. **By running after men like whores, by their fickle minds, and by their naturallack of affection these women are unfaithful to their husbands even when they are zealously guarded here. Knowing that their very own nature is like this, as it was born at the creation by the Lord of Creatures (Prajapati), **a man should make the utmost effort to guard them. **The bed and the seat, jewellery, lust, anger, crookedness, a malicious nature, and bad conduct are what Manu assigned to women.* There is no ritual with Vedic verses for women; this is a firmly established point of law. For women, who have no virile strength, and no Vedic verses, are falsehood; this is well established."* Manusmrti 9:14-18
Why don't you read about Islam with a true heart without any bias. I believe everyone wants to reach to the truth doesn't matter how much cloudy things seem ...............
^ Hum, well, what you are asking me is about "Fiqah". But before going to Fiqah, it is important to read what Quran says. After that, a person will be strong enough to understand and adopt any school of thought.
^ I think the topic is “Status of women in Hinduism”
Lets get back to the topic. Heres VishnuSamriti,
“A damsel whose menses begin to appear (while she is living) at her father’s house, before she has been betrothed to a man, has to be considered as a degraded womanby taking her (without the consent of her kinsmen) a man commits no wrong.” Visnusmrti 24:41
“A discarded wife is one who has no son. … For a wife that is without a son, is possessed with Nirriti (destruction, calamity).” Satapatha Brahmana 5:3:1:13
