Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

^ Okay, so take the challange. Prove me wrong by bringing the correct text, otherwise you are a lier. How is that?

Forget about from where I am posting. care about what you can bring against me to prove me wrong :)

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

I can post here what the Hindu Law says about these offenses

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

Manu Samriti, the Book of Laws in Hinduism says the following about women..................

"Good looks do not matter to them, nor do they care about youth; 'A man!' they say, and enjoy s...... with him, whether he is good-looking or ugly. **By running after men like whores, by their fickle minds, and by their naturallack of affection these women are unfaithful to their husbands even when they are zealously guarded here. Knowing that their very own nature is like this, as it was born at the creation by the Lord of Creatures (Prajapati), **a man should make the utmost effort to guard them. **The bed and the seat, jewellery, lust, anger, crookedness, a malicious nature, and bad conduct are what Manu assigned to women.* There is no ritual with Vedic verses for women; this is a firmly established point of law. For women, who have no virile strength, and no Vedic verses, are falsehood; this is well established."*
Manusmrti 9:14-18

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

Is it necessary to prove an idiot that he is wrong?

I like this statement.

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

If not yourself, please consider those who are reading your replies. They know who is idiot and who is loosing the argument :rotfl:

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

i dont live in pakistan.

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

^ I am not saying you live in Pakistan

It’d make sense if you say, “I don’t live in India or I am not an Indian” that would be more reasonable…

I am saying, we are talking about “Status of women in Hinduism” :rotfl:

Just as a comment, I am quite impressed with Ahmad Deedat, Dr. Zakir Naik, Shabbir Ally, Steve Rockwell…

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

^ Aik baat kahoon yaar.

Why don't you read about Islam with a true heart without any bias. I believe everyone wants to reach to the truth doesn't matter how much cloudy things seem ...............

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

Ya I am ready, but tell me which school of thought or sect I should study to get best out of it. Please suggest me the best except Sunni !

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

^ Hum, well, what you are asking me is about "Fiqah". But before going to Fiqah, it is important to read what Quran says. After that, a person will be strong enough to understand and adopt any school of thought.

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

OK, but which is the best in your eyes and why ?

Re: Status of woman in Hindu religion

^ I think the topic is “Status of women in Hinduism”

Lets get back to the topic. Heres VishnuSamriti,

“A damsel whose menses begin to appear (while she is living) at her father’s house, before she has been betrothed to a man, has to be considered as a degraded woman by taking her (without the consent of her kinsmen) a man commits no wrong.
Visnusmrti 24:41

A discarded wife is one who has no son. … For a wife that is without a son, is possessed with Nirriti (destruction, calamity).”
Satapatha Brahmana 5:3:1:13
