Inspired by the “What’s your salary” thread and because it reminded me of a recent article (yes CM, laugh all you want ) I read, it seems that many recent graduates have unrealistic expectations of what their starting salaries should be. Graduates think they’re going to enter the workforce with a salary in the 6 figures (this refers to North Americans).
What was your starting salary in your first full-time, professionally relevant job?

Re: Starting salary
Talking about salary expectations is stretching it too far. Recent graduates will be lucky and thank their stars if they could find a job in NA. :chai:.

Re: Starting salary
A fresh graduate should never look for salary. it's the company, the kind of job and growth prospects that should matter.
